HO Scale Building Kits - Ace Super Market

Very detailed and for the price you cant beat it!

This is an interesting kit because it depicts an older style of grocery store. It has turnstiles inside, and the exterior styling is vintage. I thought the pieces fit together reasonably well, although I had to sand and scrape a few of them. I haven't finished it yet, but it's easy to paint and customize it as well. I printed pictures of shelving on photo paper and glued it inside to add more detail. One strange thing about this kit is the duplicate parts. There were two of all the front walls, with separate clear and opaque pieces for the windows. That caused some confusion, because there's no mention of it in the instructions. Also, there's a garage door on the back, and it looks like it was originally intended to open and close. The kit includes detailed shelving facing the back door, but since it doesn't open this will never be seen.

Brings back great memories of my childhood. Design is perfect. Great artistry. Adds reality to the layout.

First off I don't know how anyone would give this kit a bad review....couldn't ask for a better kit for the cheap price. Anyone with half modeling skills can do this . This kit took about 6 hrs total to paint and put together easy instructions to follow. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR 1/64 SCALE!!!

Lots of pieces but worth it. Took me 2 days to build it. First day to paint and assembled it the next day. Got it to go in a 1:64 scale town for hotwheels and matchbox cars.

Looked nice in pictures but not so much after assembly. A lot of parts didn't mate quite right. Looks to me like the dies used for injection molding are a bit worn out.

This is the worst item I ever brought from Amazon . These pieces won’t fit and not at all useful . Not even worth 2 dollar

Love putting this building together. Using for childs hot wheels and matchbox vehicles. Though scale states 1/64 might be a different 1/64 scale than the matchbox because seems small. Other than that love this brand was easy and fun to put together. Actually got several of these.
