Vekkia Cal King Size Bed Wedge Pillow Gap Filler/Headboard Pillow/Mattress Wedge to Fill Gap (0-6") Between Headboard and Mattress (White 72"x10"x6")

For years I've struggled with pillows and items falling between my headboard and mattress. I've come up with pseudo fixes but nothing has ever really worked. I'm so happy I finally invested in this simple, not-very-expensive solution that works absolutely perfectly. I actually sleep better knowing I won't lose my pillow in the middle of the night. There was zero smell to the item and it fits perfectly for my mattress & frame (I did measure prior, just to be sure.) If you've ever struggled with this space in your bed system, I highly recommend this foam spacer before you unknowingly have another poor night's sleep.

My partner and I moved back in December and decided to get rid of our current mattress and bed frame since they were second hand and broken/falling apart. I bought a new mattress and bed frame along with a lot of other new furniture and didn’t pay attention to the height of the mattress compared to the height of the bed frame. So when we got the mattress and bed frame there was a significant gap of a few inches between the top of the mattress and the bottom of where the bottom of the head board starts. We would constantly have our pillows falling through the gap along with our phones and such leading us to waking up in the middle of the night frequently to pull our pillows back out and struggle to fall back asleep.Fed up, I went to Amazon to look for any sort of solution and stumbled upon this wedge. I was hesitant at first because a lot of stuff that claims to be California king length ends up being too short and I was worried about comfort. This ended up being an amazing purchase. It is the perfect size for a California king bed and just tall enough to help us with the gap issue we were having. It is incredibly comfortable while being sturdy, but doesn’t lose any comfort while being sturdy. Our heads don’t press down on it as much as we thought it would especially when putting pillows on top of it. My sleep quality was improved in just one night since my pillows no longer slip out and as an added bonus, I’m not waking up with a lot of shoulder and neck pain from sleeping flat on my side and now I’m more elevated. I also like that there’s a zipper so you can wash the cover if needed. My only VERY minor critique is that I wish it came in different colors so we could’ve gotten something that matches our bedding and blends in more, but again, that’s just me being nitpicky. Overall very happy with this purchase and really enjoy feeling super comfortable and waking up feeling good.

We have a pretty big gap between our headboard and mattress so I bought this gap wedge to full in that space. For the price, it does the job. I like that it is wedge shaped so it props up our pillows. It’s soft and firm, it doesn’t give you too much of a head lift with the pillow which is nice.

My pillows were constantly sliding down behind my bed, but not any more! This wedge fit my queen size bed perfectly. I wish it came out a little farther to have a bit more slope as pillows can sit up rather high. But it works great. The pockets on the ends are pretty worthless, but that’s of little concern. I’d buy this again.

King size fit spot on. Side pocket quite handy for phone - no groping on the night stand when it rings. Covers the creeping gap without a problem, height angle is good to work with, and unobstrusive. For those (like my hubby) that don’t want a wedge at the headboard, only a few inches are lost if they scoot their pillow down. You’re looking at this because you have a gap problem, right? I spent awhile researching, thinking, and debating $ before I purchased this as although I’m on a fixed income, losing pillows and remotes and books while I sleep as driving me bonkers. This works, decent cushion and material, and no un packaging problems that a few others mention.

I bought this because we have no headboard and got tired of my pillow falling in the gap between the bed and the wall. Works great so far. It is also nice for proping your pillow up on for watching TV in bed!

First I will say that this does what I want, it works. However, the company does not offer extra pillow cases and none of the generic extra cases I’ve found fit this specific size of pillow. If there were optional additional cases that fit this pillow then I’d give it a much higher rating, but as it is, I’d have to buy a whole new pillow for the second case.

This works to close the gap between my mattress and headboard, so my pillow doesn't wedge down the gap during the night. Once I make my bed this is invisible.
