Gives me all the ports I need on my MacBook Air
This USB-C hub has been a godsend for my MacBook Air. It has a fantastic selection of ports, including HDMI, Ethernet, USB-A, USB-C, and SD card slots. The HDMI output is capable of 4K@60Hz, which connects to my Samsung QLED Monitor and displays a crystal clear image. The Ethernet port performs very well, providing a reliable wired network connection. I was able to achieve fast and stable download and upload speeds comparable with the built-in gigabit port in my Windows laptop. One minor point is that when I have a power adapter plugged into the hub, it does get a bit warm to the touch. However, this is completely normal and it remains safe to use even when warm. The heat dissipation seems adequate.Overall, this is a very capable and versatile USB-C hub that provides a great selection of ports in a compact form factor. The key functions like Ethernet and HDMI work flawlessly. It was so good I bought a second one which is permanently connected to my MacBook Pro on my desk.

Great piece of kit
I work part time from home and find this adapter great. Use it for Ethernet, hdmi cable and wireless mouse adapter. Everything is one place and saves me having to use multiple ports on my laptop. Does not interfere and works fine for outgoing and incoming calls including Teams calls.

The almost perfect USB hub.
Everything about this hub is perfect for me the only thing that would be nice is for it to have a usb c data port but works very well, Got the thing max out and still works

Works well as a laptop dock to avoid connecting/disconnecting devices
Although I've only used this hub for 1 day I wanted to share some product feedback but also guidance to others who might be wanting to use in the same manner that I am.The short version is that this device works perfectly. Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI with 4K at 60hz, Power Delivery goes from 65W power supply to 60W reported by the laptop. The Model is CM512, Part Number 60515.My set-upLaptop: Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2iOS: Windows 10Usage: Desktop DockDevices connected:HDMI: MonitorEthernet: Gigabit switchPower Input: Lenovo 65w chargerUSB 3.0 Dell Wireless keyboard & mouse receiverUSB 3.0 Plantronics USB SpeakerphoneConnected to the ThinkPad using the laptop USB-C Dock portI got this hub to use as a dock to avoid having to plug/unplug the above devices everyday, it was not to provides ports that are missing on the laptop (they are all there). I was concerned about whether the laptop's 65W charger would still be able to charge it when connected as pass-through. And it does, just about. The power rate drops from 65W to 60W, the laptop still reports it's being charger, but it's not close to the actual rate possible. I had the laptop working in this set up for an hour when the battery was at 100%, after the hour the battery was at 99%. This does not create a problem for me as even a drop of 10% after 8 hours of work would still acceptable.I am looking into another USB-C power supply, it will probably be an 80W or greater, which will be to power this unit and the laptop's power supply will then be available for trips. For those wondering, the ethernet adapter is ASIX AX88179 USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter. The hub was Plug n Play for Windows, did not ask for any drivers.Pictures are attached for the LAN speed, LAN driver details, and HDMI 4K display refresh rates support. BTW the HDMI was tested on an LG C1 4K TV which support 120hz.Overall I'm happy with this hub, does everything I need it to do.

Great alternative dock for Dell laptop
Bought this to work from home as laptop HDMI port was playing up. Great little docking unit which works through the laptop USB C then charges laptop from there. No problems connecting to separate monitor, keyboard and mouse. Could do with more USB ports, but I went for this version as we wanted 60Hz and easy to plug a small USB extender in if needed. Overall a great alternative to a Dell dock at a much better price.

Solid HDMI and Ethernet
✅ HDMI works flawlessly. Have had other cheaper ones where it flickers or screen goes off or the screen goes green. None of that with the✅ Ethernet helps keep a wired connection when I need it❌ Sometimes gets a bit hot but all these converters and adapter doI purchased ones months ago and it’s been so reliable I got a second one.

HDMI Port created too big, allows lead to wiggle and drop out
The media could not be loaded. Bought this so I could have LAN on my MacBook, and watch HDMI streaming on my television and use my mouse USB dongle at the same time using the limited amount of USB ports it has. This has proved great for all but HDMI. It does heat up, but not over hot, just warm. The dongle worked well, my mouse worked straight away when moved. However, here is the big let down. I attached it using a new HDMI cable that has worked using my single HDMI accessory I bought from Apple fine. No drop outs using it. HDMI cable end is secure, firm. Halfway through my viewing I kept getting black screen on my television, and the sound to my Soundbar dropping back to my MacBook as it takes its sound from the television. I decided to have a closer look at this device. UGreen has manufactured their HDMI port too large for the 'standard' HDMI cable, so it wiggles around inside the port, and if any slight pressure is placed upon the cable, it drops from the device. The cable does not have that firmness feel to it when inserted into the port; it goes in far too easily and doesn't stay there. So there is the solution as to all the other reviewer's comments I have read on here that they are getting drop out on this device on their HDMI and didn't know why. The reason why is a design fault from UGreen on the HDMI port being too large. I will send it back for a refund as not fit for purpose. In conclusion if you want this device for all the other aspects of it, but not HDMI, then it will serve those functions. However, if HDMI was one of the reasons for looking at buying this device, don't buy it as they will have to do some serious re-design on it for the HDMI port to work. I personally wouldn't buy it anyway, after all, buying something new with one of the ports not working isn't getting full value from it. I would look elsewhere for a device to suit your needs.
