Best belt I've ever used
I stumbled on this when I was looking for a military style web belt to wear with my work clothes. At first I wasn't sure I would care for this belt because it is made of Nylon Web. if you never wore a web belt they come in two forms; cotton and Nylon. Cotton is a bit thicker and most buckles hold better with this fabric but the color fades. Nylon is thinner, doesn't hold as fast, but is more durable and retains its color without fading. Typically I prefer the cotton so I was about to pass on this one, but the buckle looked heavy duty. I read mixed opinions, but decided to try it anyway.I've been using it about a week now and I absolutely love this belt. The nylon is nice and thin which is usually a problem with military style buckles but this plastic buckle grabs and holds really tight, It doesn't slip at all. The buckle doesn't have teeth that bite into the fabric like a traditional web belt so the Nylon doesn't tear, shred, or wear out. The buckle just clamps the nylon in place using pressure. I imagine this belt will last a real long time since nylon web doesn't get distended with use like a cotton one would. this is a very durable and comfortable belt. I saw some reviews stating that the buckle is a bit bulky and it does look bulky in the picture. Compared to a traditional belt the buckle may be a bit large, but compared to other web belts I don't find it to be too large and when I received it, i was surprised how much smaller it looked in person compared to the picture on Amazon. I'll be back to purchase this in a few more colors soon. I might get one in each color since they will most likely last me the rest of my life. The only bad part is it only comes in one size. If you are larger than a size 40-42 then it will be too short. If you are smaller you will need to cut it to size and then melt the end so it doesn't fray. I am pretty good at this having had worn nylon web belts in the Navy, but if you never done it before be careful because it is easy to scotch the Nylon. If you have a hot knife it will work best or just leave it long and tuck in the access in your belt loops if its not too cumbersome. Unfortunately, this belt doesn't have the metal tabs that clamp on the end after you cut it to give it the neat appearance. The tab would not fit in this buckle, so you have to use it as illustrated in the picture with no tab.

Titan Web Belt Made in USA by Thomas Bates - Color: Navy
I wanted a belt that could hold up my pants and go through metal detectors without setting them off since we have one at work and this belt accomplishes both those tasks. The belt is around 48" or rather 123 cm long and is recommended by the manufacturer to simply cut it to the desired length and singe the end to keep it from coming apart, which was very easy. I cut 11" off of mine since I have such a small waist. The belt is wider than I was expecting at a 1.5" but still works with the belt loops in all my jeans. The cam buckle is thicker than I would have liked but does a great job at locking the belt in place and doesn't let it slip, but it does crush the belt causing an indent so hopefully it doesn't wear that spot out over time.I also really like the fact that I can just pull the belt out of the belt loops without it catching so it slips out very easy compared to all my other belts having to be fished out of every loop.

Ok, with one minor issue
Generally, I like it. It's a belt, no metal parts so I expect I will no longer have to remove my belt at security points. The buckle looks solid and convenient to me. The only thing I don't like about it is how thick the buckle is - it has an odd triangular profile and is about 3/4 inch thick at the apex. Not sure why they made it like this. I am including a photo such that people know what they get. Not really a big issue for me, but would be better if less bulky.

Great belt but not exactly as advertised
The belt that I received does not match the picture. The buckle is more rounded and the black that appears to be on the edges from the front and totally covering the back side of the belt is not there. I ordered the Graphite color and it is just 1 solid color all the way around. The description also states it is 1 1/2" wide, while it actually measures 1 1/4" (while on the subject of measurements, the total length from tip to tip is about 48 inches, so if you are larger than about a size 42 this will probably be too small for you). All of these things are really just splitting hairs considering my intended use, but I can't give 5 stars to something that isn't exactly what you ordered. With that being said, provided you aren't buying this belt for the looks it is fantastic. I bought this only because of the fact that it supposedly really clamps down on itself and doesn't let go. I wanted something sturdy like this for hiking, yard work, or pretty much any outdoor activity so I don't have to constantly readjust my belt with dirty hands or while wearing gloves. In this respect it does perform as advertised. In my experience synthetic fiber belts last for a long time but don't have a very good grip like natural fiber belts do, so if you bend over or squat down or otherwise really press against the belt it starts to come undone. That is not the case here, the only way I have been able to get this thing to loosen up is by undoing the buckle, so you are really getting the best of both worlds. Overall I would recommend this belt to most of my pants and your pants too, and I may buy some more just in case the first one gets lost.

Awesomely awesome belt that’s awesome
So I’ve been looking for a new belt for a bit. I just lost a bunch of weight and my old leather belt had formed to the spot that was always used. Well that belt would work itself out of the loops on my pants and drive me insane. So I got this belt and it’s perfect. It clamps firmly in place and is soooo comfortably comfortable. I purchased two of these bad boys one for work and another for regular use. I highly recommend these belts and I will be only ever getting this brand.

Metal Free Quality!!
The answer to my prayers!!!!!Being allergic to cheap metals (namely anything with Nickel in it), I find that 99% of belt buckles out there bring my tummy out in an annoying and itchy rash. I have even tried 'Nickel Free' ones but to no avail. I then came across this belt and have had two weeks of belt wearing bliss! It contains NO metal at all and is made of a very sturdy plastic which feels like it may well last a very long time. The strap itself is of a slightly lower quality but I suppose I could replace this in time if need be!Very, very happy with this product. cheap too! Recommended!!

Bit pricey but other than that not bad
Good points: It is completely metal free so will be great for going through airport security (which is why I bought it) and when closed it grips really well, definitely won't be worried about it coming undone unexpectedly. Colour (navy) is nice and it's probably long enough for most people.Bad points: For what it is and how it feels I think it's a bit overpriced. But saying that, I haven't tried any of the cheaper ones and this doesn't feel like it will break easily. For the price I was expecting something... more. Even if just some nice packaging!

Almost perfect
This is a very comfortable belt to wear, and easy to adjust. I've had it around 10 months now and still looks as good as new. The only thing I can mark it down for is it does dig into my stomach when driving. I haven't got a large gut by any means, but the buckle has a tendency to push into me a little. All I do is slacken it slightly in the car and the rest of the time it's fine.

Good broad belt
Bit broader than the other Thomas Bates belts I have, which I knew when I ordered this. The buckle is also slightly more prominent but holds the belt securely including under tension. As with other Thomas Bates belts it's easy to cut to length and singe the end to seal it. I prefer the narrower Thomas Bates belts with more compact buckles but this shade of green wasn't available in that size. It's a matter of personal preference. As a belt it's good.

Good for airport security
Very good for not needing to remove your belt at airport security. The buckle is quite stiff, but also it doesn't come undone. When it says 48" long it means exactly 48" long so actually you need will need a smaller waist for the buckle to have something to grip onto.
