Great Addition To my E-bike
I received my Yascom 30L Trunk/Storage Case yesterday. It arrived quickly and in great shape. I read the reviews before I bought it, so I was prepared for issues installing it and I knew how to securely lock the trunk onto its base & how to remove it. It comes with literally no instructions, so the reviews made installation & use MUCH easier. It's actually easy to install but it helped to know it has to be unlocked to secure it to the base and I appreciate the advice to use lock washers. As to actual use, it's fantastic! I'm using it on my e-bike and it hold a ton of stuff. I had been using a very nice & large wire basket. I could stack it really high but that focused all the weight over my rear tires and made my bike feel less stable. This trunk holds much more than my bike basket without have to stack things so high and the weight is distributed out beyond the rear rack. I feed community cats at night so I carry a gallon of water, dry food, several cans of wet food, paper towels, &, often, a jacket in case it gets colder while I'm out. I put all that in the trunk last night and had room for more, WITH the top closed. I even added litter for some other cats I'm caring for between the trunk and my seat. The ride felt more stable and everything was out if view and somewhat secure when I stopped at a store. Obviously, the lock could be broken if someone really wants to do so but they don't know if there's anything worth stealing inside and it would be obvious they were breaking in to other people in the area. My cat liked the basket better because she could get into it from the seat but she's adapting and I love this trunk.

Great value but upgrade the bolts
Much better than expected for the money . As others have stated used better bolts for mounting. Stainwless Cap head hex bolts work great. It’s not a Givi for sure but works great on my 02 Honda Elite 80. I don’t plan a removing it so I installed extra bolts through the bottom and sealed them to make sure it’s does not come loose on our terrible roads

Good enough
I got this Top Box for my 2022 Honda Super Cub. I had added a rear rack, and this black box is to give me much needed storage on this tiny bike. I've had it now for a couple of months. The quality is OK, not great. I didn't love it at first, but since it was so inexpensive and it is so practical, I'm giving it a decent review. Installation was simple but the rails they provided were not an ideal size. I made it work. The plastic and feel is a little dull and cheap looking, especially when compared to the fit and finish of the Honda, but now that it's installed, I think it looks fine. It carries everything I needed it for and I didn't have to spend a lot to get it. I don't use the quick release feature but it seems to work fine if you want to pop it off easily with a big plastic button.I do wish the latch mechanism didn't need to be locked to remove the key, since I don't always want or need to lock it, but it's not a show stopper. Overall, it's pretty decent.

Big enough for a helmet
This passes the main test - it will close with either my half or three quarters helmets inside. Might not close on a full face helmet. Mounts solidly. Comes off easily when needed. Good choice if you aren’t ready to spend hundreds on a gigantic aluminum box. The base was easy to match when cutting out mounting holes in a standard pet carrier so I could easily transport my pooch to the vet. I remove this box and attach the carrier to the base plate.

Very good
I was hesitant to buy it and thought I will get what I paid for. I was wrong! Case is BIG. My modular full size helmet fits easily with some room to spare. Construction is surprisingly good and sturdy. Came with everything needed for installation. My friend spent 4 times the amount for big name brand and it's not better at all.

Excellent and very reasonably priced
This top case is an excellent value. It’s about half the cost of the more popular brands and comes with all the hardware and the mounting bracket. It was also very easy to install. And looks as good as the pricey ones.

Does the job but got some issues.
3 stars because it does the job but taking stars off for lack of manual, useless included mounting system.Purchased this to give my bike some extra storage while out running errands. The red 'reflective' band around it is just decoration and does not act as a reflector in any form. Going to have to add some reflective tape or bicycle reflectors onto it to boost visibility while on the road. Does not come with any instructions on how to mount the device or operate its mechanisms. The lack of instructions was workable as its not complicated to figure out how it mounts if you spend a few minutes examining it and fiddling with how the plates and bolts fit together. The universal-mounting plate was useless as it did not fit my bike at all. The pre-cut plate and the metal bars that went with it didn't line up with the bikes top-box mounting points. Its just ABS plastic so I just positioned box over the mounting-holes, measured, drilled, then bolted it directly onto the bike. Its no longer 'removable' but that was okay as I intended to leave it on full-time anyway and its harder to steal it now. At $30 and sturdy ABS plastic I was willing to take the risk of self-tapping the mounting holes into the bottom using a high-speed drill with sharp-bits.Of special note; it came with 4 x 2-inch machine-screws along with assorted washers for holding everything together. The screws are metric. The kit does not include nuts to go with those bolts. Thus if you're bike does not have threaded case-mounts you will need to buy 4 x nuts to go on the bolts. HOWEVER. Those bolts are metric and tightly spaced threads so you cannot just use any-old 1/4in nuts on those bolts. No. I just got my own bolts + nuts + washers and used those to mount it. So remember: you may need to get you're own mounting bolts and nuts. For the size it can hold my BILT Medium-size helmet on its side with a little room around the edges for my gloves. You can fit lots of other things in there with the 30L capacity and the plastic can flex a little if something is a little bit too big. Just remember that while the ABS-plastic is sturdy its still thin and too much pressure will break it.Summary:* Buy add-on reflectors: the red-band around it is just decoration.* Medium-size BILT brand helmet does fit but only on its side* No instructions but easy to figure out; mounting system is useless.* Included mounting bolts did not include matching nuts; had to just get and use my own.I will update later with pictures when I get opportunity.
