I did extensive research prior to buying these and have tried many pairs of binoculars before arriving to the 5 star review on these. I had a pair of nikon 10-22x50 aculon , Bushnell trophy 10x42 and Celestron DX 8x42 and none were as clear and crisp as these. There is some slight fringing in some lighting at times but nothing major or bothersome. I can clearly and accurately determine color for birds which the others had difficulty doing. The 10x magnification is perfect for me and I can quickly pick up birds as they fly in. 8x wasn't really cutting it. These binoculars feel great in my hand are easy to adjust and scope your target. If I could only own 1 pair of binoculars under $300 I would most certainly pick these again. The build construction is nice too and they're compact enough to lug around or wear on a strap or chest harness. My only gripe is I purchased the vortex chest harness and and openings on the binoculars are too small to use the tethers with the rings that it came with. I had to buy smaller tethers on here to he able to use it. Not a big deal as they were cheap.

A great set of binoculars for general bird watching. I really love the feel of quality when you go to focus them. There is PLENTY of light coming through the binoculars and they are exceptionally good during sunrise and sunset birdwatching because they gather lots of light. A very good product for the money. FYI you can't mount these to a tripod.

These are great Binoculars. I did a lot of research before buying these. With so many options I wanted to make sure I was getting the best product for my buck. Granted there are a lot more expensive options but for me this was a lot to pay for Binoculars and wanted to make sure I was getting a high end clear set. Well these deliver. They are crystal clear, very easy to adjust. Both my wife and I use them and they are great. They are very durable, the strap that comes with them is very comfortable around your neck. I'm taller and like to have them hang down mid chest, my wife is shorter and of course likes them a little higher up. The strap is fast and easy to adjust and fits our needs just fine. I have to say it was a little bit of a job to install the straps, but hey that's what you want, you don't want them to slip off. Another big seller for me is that they are made right here in the USA and from what I hear they have a great warranty. The product is made so well I have not needed to test that yet. I'm happy I purchased these, if your on the wall on your purchase you will be happy with these. I have used binoculars that were double the cost of these and honestly I can't say they were any better.

For the price and the unconditional guarantee this is a great value. Well made, feel solid in the hand, and give a nice view. The only reason for the 4 stars is the first pair they sent me was obviously a returned item. There was no box or paperwork, the strap was tied to the binocular connections with a double knot, one of the adjustment sliders was missing, and there were fingerprints on 3 of the 4 lens surfaces. I wasted no time in returning it.

So many similar products to choose from, where do you start? I selected these from a friend’s recommendation and am extremely pleased! Optics are crystal clear and lenses brought in all kinds of light for a good clean image. Focusing was effortless and adjustment between both eyes was easy, even with my multi-focal contact lenses. The width adjustment is full range where I’ve had trouble in the past with my narrow face leaving me with a distorted view. Soft sided carrying case offers plenty of content protection without beating you up during the carry. For the $, a really good value. If I’d had lost these overboard, I’d be shopping for the identical binoculars.

I compared two Binoculars by Amazon reviews. This one and Nikon but I decided try this one first. Total build quality is beyond my expectation. It feels like well made military grade stuffs. Nothing loose and doesn't looks cheap. Image quality is crystal clear and easy to focus. Yes there is tiny bit of chromatic aberration but this is entry level binoculars and it doesn't bother me at all. I went out today for take bird pictures. This little binocular helped me a lot. And the most important thing is Vortex provide no question ask lifetime warranty. They promised they will fix or replace it when it's damaged or broken even it's owners fault. They don't even have product registration. I love it! So I can use it with peace of mind. I think I made right decision for binoculars.Tip: Someone mentioned about tricky strap installation. Use metal nail file. Just gently push the end of strap with it.
