Solo un poco flojo al conectar así que hay que tener cuidado al manipularlo ya que se puede desconectar con muy poca fuerza, fuera de eso funciona bien, lo uso para conectar un HD SATA a una PS2 con el adaptador de red original que usa IDE y aparte conecto un adaptador de IDE a SATA que no queda bien al ponerlo directo, por ello el uso de este cable, no conseguí otro conector más corto pero funciona bien.

I needed to extend the ribbon connector between my Arcade1up control deck and the monitor by several inches in order to do the recessed monitor mod. The male side plugged right into the end of the 40 pin ribbon connector cable and the female side into the 40 pin socket on the PCB. Exactly what I needed it to do.

When your cable is just a tiny bit short this will fix your problem

I was modifying my PS2 using a 2.5" SATA HDD with IDE to SATA converter. When the network adapter was attached on the PS2, the 40 pin socket of the network adapter fit tightly along the bottom of the HDD slot. This was a problem since the converter I had purchased made it impossible to reattach the network adapter to the back of the PS2. This cable made it possible to connect my 2.5" HDD/converter assembly to the network adapter and just squeeze the whole thing into the given slot.
