The soups are easy to make. Just put all the ingredients roughly chopped and within 20 mins you have your soup ready. It can even sauté ginger/garlic/onion if you wish to do that before pouring water( instructions given by the seller in one of the questions n answers posted by someone and also you can refer to a video posted by American Micronic). The blades are sharp to even blend hard vegetables. Reheat function is also handy. Cleaning can be done by a soft sponge with detergent. I wish the company could sell like a cap cover separately on payment basis for the two open socket points on the soup maker. While cleaning under running water, It would have made cleaning a little easier n less fearful. Right now the only thing that scares me is that water droplet should not go into the open socket points on the machine. It serves 4 big mugs / or 6-8 small cups of soup in one go if filled to the max level.Just go for this soup maker. You will love the hassle free cooking in this.

Item is very good working nicely. I recommend others to purchase happily. But care to be taken on original packing. Original packing got damaged in transit. Rest all fine.

This unit was bought as a gift for someone after another person in the family had great experiences with the same brand of soupmaker. The unit we purchased worked great five times and on the sixth time, only the mixer worked. On contacting customer care at American Micronics, they very nonchalantly asked us to pay for the panel - where is the warranty policy? we are surprised at this absolutely indifferent approach. We take extreme care with our appliances and have never faced an issue with any gadget in warranty and beyond warranty. American Micronics - please have this unit honoured under warranty.

Multi options of cooking.1 Makes smooth soups retaining all the fibre.2. No wastage at all3. Makes chunky soups too4. Makes jam5. Cleaning option is there6. Reheating option is there7 . It can make juices/shakes too but I haven't tried this option as yet. Now that summers are coming, will try this option too.Any shortcomings? Not at all. But wish there was a smaller version of this product for a single person as the minimum soup you can make is for two. Maximum for 4.

Chaunky part and fruit juice does not give good quality performance.Except tomato soup 🍲 , not really very nice. It's ok

I suggest safety plugs be attached to both the container and motor. These could be plugged in to avoid accidental ingress of water in electrical contacts during cleaning.One should use a container like shown in this photo to rest the motor after detachment from bowl so that the blade is protected.The soup maker blade pulverizes hard ingredients like pepper seeds extremely well . You get a perfectly blended hot soup. No need to stir the contents before pouring into serving bowls.
