Holding it in your hand, it feels like a premium, high-quality pen. The brass construction gives it a satisfying heft The pattern engraved in the barrel of the pen makes for a secure grip. It writes very well, so as a pen, it's great.The flashlight has two levels, selected by how many times you push up on the bolt-action stud that deploys the pen.The first level is enough to help you get a key in a lock in a dark place, the brighter level is enough to piss you off if someone shined it in your eyes. Can easily light up a an average sized dark room so you can find your way around.The green laser is silly, and useless, and a lot of fun. I don't have a cat, but if you do, this is the pen for you.I haven't used either the flashlight or the laser enough to comment on battery life, or anything like that, but I like this so much I'm thinking about it as a Christmas present for a couple people I know.

Well to follow on from my title, it’s nice to own a proper penlight as all before were poo.It has great design and bad design. It’s too big and long for a start. You can’t turn it on once in your jacket pocket. Hu? It’s so smooth you can’t grip it well for writing.It’s looks nice, it’s made well and the light will take your face off at its highest level. Cool addition to any proper gadget freak.

Overall build quality is excellent. It feels like a self defense pen, really.The laser is easy to activate and while not as bright as my made-in-China laserpointers, are as bright as my other Olights that probably have to conform with western safety standards.The pen itself writes very smoothly and exceeded expectations. I do not have input as to how long it will last as I don't use it that often.This leads me to my only quibble with the unit. The light is placed cleverly on the pen's clip so that it will fire straight ahead when clipped to a pocket. My quibble is that the clip itself is exceptionally sturdy (good) but also exceptionally tight (bad for dress shirts).All of this means this is not my every day pen (which is a very smooth writing Montblanc ballpoint). It's too bad, really since the pen is a very smooth writer, significantly better than most ball points. But since I dont want to damage my dress shirts this pen is currently in my go-bag for the moment.If you're wondering about the light, its decent. A little better than a top quality cell phone light.

So let me start off with how well this light is built it’s very high quality sturdy but not heavy. The light for as small as it is has an extreme amount of illumination. Can easily be used for self defense with out fear of breaking it. So all that is great pretty sure if your looking at purchasing this pen it’s not for its writing capabilities, however this “pen” writes smoothly without flaw. Well worth the money for you get in return. A rate this product A+++ don’t hesitate go ahead and buy it you will be happy with your purchase.

It’s a pointer, a light and a pen. Very handy to have in your pocket. Rechargeable so no battery issues.

This fancy little pen was introduced to him by a coworker. He loves the led pointer on it. It’s a metal cased pen which is really nice and comes with a back up ink cartridge. My husbands a diesel tech and he trains a lot so the flash light AND led pointer really help him a ton to be able to point out parts/failure/etc. it’s pricey but worth it in my opinion :)
