I had to mount mine about 4 Ft. back from a cream colored wall outside to get any decent brightness --then it worked well over Christmas and it is still working and I leave it on all the time because it is hard to get to. It also melts off the snow accumulation.Hard to see at dusk ---

Love it! Very easy to set up
Love it! Very easy to set up. However, if you have a wide house and want it to cover the entire front portion I would recommend buying a couple!
