Not your most compact stroller, but itās luxury on 3 wheels, for both child AND parent (read on)!
I really LOVE this stroller! I tend to like 3 wheel strollers most. As they tend to do the best over rough terrain, and have a super smooth ride, and yes.. this one does roll just like that! Iām impressed!I know many people out there donāt wish to spend $400 on a stroller, but hear me out! Itās something that I personally wonāt and donāt ever skimp on, when you think about the amount of time that your child will spend in it, itās a very worthy investment in their comfort, safety, and in your comforts as well. Those little things that make the stroller a pricy one, arenāt just geared towards babies, but the parents as well. How easy is the fold up? On this stroller? A breeze! I love it. How does it ride from your end of things? Smooth as silk, and easy to turn, steer, get into snugger spaces. Weāve all been there. That alone is worth the money for me.How much storage space do you have? There is plenty on this deluxe model. You need that space more than you may think, especially new moms who donāt realize it yet. If you are going to have more future babies, this will pay for itself over and over again.Trust me, a great stroller, to me, is nearly priceless. I had a top of the line $1,000 stroller for my twins, and this rides smoother. Times are changing, and technology and comforts are only getting better and better, so $399.99 is a VERY good buy. It is aesthetically stunning to boot. It features an adjustable handle, which is truly fabulous, a parentās cup for mom or dad, and an extra large canopy for baby. Also, this is helpful to you too, as keeping the sun out of babyās eyes is always a hassle, yet a priority for mama. And baby appreciates it, too š.The ONLY reason I rate this 4.75 stars is because itās not THE most light-weight, least bulky model of stroller when folded, but trust me, I managed a twin stroller alone as a petite lady, in comparison.. this is a breeze. But with luxury comes a little bit extra, as far as weight and size, but itās still very manageable, and very much so, worth the sticker price.Your baby will have a smooth ride, and trust me, mama will adore it too! Youāll love it, I assure you!4.75 stars rounded up to a 5 star rating! As close to perfect as any quality stroller Iāve tried, and Iāve tried and owned many more than most anybody Iāve ever known, and many Iāve tried and owned were more costly. I canāt see you being disappointed in this luxurious, Maxi-Cosi Gia XP stroller!āļøāļøāļøāļø+I hope that my review has proven helpful, and if so, do let me know! Thank you! šš

Heavy, Sturdy Well thought-out Stroller
The Maxi-Cosi Gia XP 3-Wheel Stroller is a large well constructed stroller. Everything clicks into place nicely. It weighs 24 lbs. Folded up it is 32" X 17" X 24". So this is not a small or lightweight stroller. It is large when open, large when folded and heavy. But it is very sturdy. When you first get the box, you wonder, "how do I unfold it?" There is a gray latch on the side that you have to unsnap. Once you do that it begins to unfold, even if a bit unwieldy.Assembly is straightforward. The wheels easily click into place. The same goes for the Car Seat adapters. They click nicely into place. When you don't need them, the zippered pocket on the back is large enough to easily hold them. You also get the obligatory Cup Holder which easily clicks into place on the right or left side of the handlebars. The Stroller has large wheels so it works on all kinds of terrain (within reasonable limits of course). It handles very nicely, is easy to turn and rolls very smoothly. This is the area that this stroller really excels in. It feels very luxurious. As you'd expect the harness straps are adjustable so you can easily adjust them to your baby/toddler's size. The seat recline is adjusted with a cinch/tab mechanism on the back. It can recline all the way back or adjust to any level you desireā¦very nice and simple. The canopy is large and expands from 45 to 135 degrees. But then, you can unzip the top-middle of the canopy, and it will expand further out to almost 180 degrees. Really amazing. It also has a peek-a-boo window at the top so you can keep your eyes on your baby. Unzipping the canopy top also creates 2 more side windows. Think of it as the portholes on the old 1957 Thunderbirds. :-)The bottom has a very large basket that can hold lots of stuff. You can access it from the back with the large open area, or access it from the front by lifting a tab on the frontā¦.all very thoughtfully designed. The handle has 3 adjustable positions to adjust it to your height and comfort. The seat pad is removable for cleaningā¦nice. The rear brakes are firmly engaged with a tap of the gray tab on the rear wheel axle of the stroller. The front wheel has a swivel lock on it. You'll mainly want to have it unlocked so that the front wheels swivel freely. All in all this is a top of the line luxury stroller as you'd expect with its $400 price tag. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is large and heavy. But if those factors are not important to you, consider this a 5 star stroller. Before I go, you might want to know how easily it folds back up. At first I was confused about where the release handle was. Looking at the image in the instruction manual, I wondered is this an image of the front or the read of the seat? Where is it? Well, it is on the front through one of the cut out holes. You simply lift the release up and the stroller begins to fold up, just keep it going with the handle folding toward the floor and click the gray tab on the side. Voila! All folded nicely.
