This is a novelty. Not for the serious about smoking.- DO NOT BUY
The wood was cherry. The amount per dollar is X4 what is available locally. The cloth sack is a sales gimmick. The smoke on my grill was less than local source @ 75% less money. Picture a small (6lb.) child in a blanket. Very sad.
