Work very well with Lego
My son likes building sets for his stop motions and buying the Lego Creative sets were starting to get a little pricey, so I came on Amazon to see if I could find an alternative that would work with his current Lego sets. All I can say is that these building blocks worked perfect. They snap together with Lego with no problems. They are the correct size and nice bright colors. These work great for my sons needs and were easy on the wallet. 1,000 pieces for the price does not get any better.

Affordable, good quality, maybe too many colors
We bought these as a cheaper alternative to legos. And we didn’t want one item LEGO objects. To get a variety LEGO bucket is ridiculously expensive. We bought this for affordability and number of bricks. They are great. Although with 10 colors (the eleventh is one of two roof colors) there may be too many colors. For example, there are 60 2x3 bricks. A great number. But because there are ten colors, there are only 6 of each color. Still they work great, they are economical and the company seems to care. Upon order I got an email asking if everything went well. Both on this order and the stem kit we ordered from brickyard. So far I’m happy with the company. My mother in law got the complementary (please don’t read this as complimentary) wheels set. We had a minor issue and are waiting to hear back. The only negative about this set is there aren’t the wheels, doors, or windows. Or plants. You have to buy those packages separately. But for what it is, 1100 bricks at an affordable price, you can’t go wrong. I really like this company (we started buying with the stem kit)...affordable and good quality. If you’re looking for more”LEGO” construction bricks to add to your collection, you’ll want to give this a try

Nearly identical and so much cheaper than authentic Lego bricks! Good compatibility, great value!
My son just turned 6 and is going through a major Lego phase which is awesome (but expensive!!) and for his birthday we wanted to get him a bunch of misc bricks so he could be more creative than just assembling sets and add on to them but didn't want to spend a fortune, so I looked into these and decided they were worth a shot! I'm so glad I did. They are definitely compatible with the existing Legos we already have and come in a great variety and assortment of shapes, sizes and colors! I was able to nearly fill one of these Lego brick containers with what comes in this box! That's a lot of possibilities! I also plan to get some generic car parts and windows and doors to complete the collection. In addition to this set of 1,100 bricks I also bought 4 generic 10" x 10" base plates and a set of 20 generic mini figures. In total I spent $50 on that stuff. If I had bought authentic Lego for all of it, I would've easily spent $150. I can confirm that all of it is compatible with genuine Lego stuff!See my side by side comparison with a Lego brick in the same size and color as the Brickyard equivalent. They are very hard to tell apart. The only thing I would say I noticed (besides the word LEGO missing from each knob - and seriously, who cares about that?) is that the knobs (I don't know the technical name for them) of the brickyard bricks seem ever so slightly smaller in diameter than the Lego ones, such that a genuine Lego minifigure's feet don't stick to the generic knobs quite as firmly/securely as they do to the Lego brand bricks. If I shake it, the generic piece starts to come loose from the foot of the Lego figure (see pic). That being said, how often does your kid shake their Legos? I think it fits well enough to work for our needs and CERTAINLY for the far cheaper price!! I do wish they came with some of the single row long flat pieces, but that's just me being picky. Truly, for the price I think these are a fantastic value and offer great compatibility with Lego brand stuff. Hope this helps!

An absolute STEAL of a product!
As a lifelong Lego fan with a 5 year old daughter who is now getting into building bricks, my biggest complaint with Lego is the price. They are fantastic, but the 1000 piece Educational set runs upward of $60, and the 800+ piece Classic set about $50. I've looked at bulk blocks but consistently found lackluster reviews normally stating "Doesn't fit with Lego as advertised" or "pieces seem of lesser quality". I stumbled upon Brickyard bricks and saw the tons of high reviews and also the great pricing. 1100 pieces for $30 is a STEAL. They arrived and the pieces are almost indistinguishable from Lego brand bricks. They fit with Lego bricks tight and seem of the same quality of material. The only discernable difference is the Brickyard bricks don't have the Lego name on the top studs of the bricks. Paired with the 10x10 inch baseplates (also very amazing products, even better than Lego brand ones), they are a great deal. Lots of bank for the buck! Highly recommend these sets for anyone looking to expand their building brick collections!

Amazing quality and useability.
Really amazing option for buying the more fundamental lego pieces in such a large quantity! They stick together incredibly strong (Stronger than name brand!) Which is good, but the only bad part about that is they are a little hard to get together and apart. Once you start using them and they get out of their factory condition it's perfect though! I was surprised at just how many parts there were, as I was having a hard time imagining 1,100 to come in such a compact box. I was able to make a border all the way around 4 10" baseplates, and then a 20x20 stud castle in the middle. The one downside to ordering a variety box is just that: Variety. You get a lot of different sizes and colors, of which most are the bigger pieces (Another +). Amazing product, five stars, amazing on and off of a budget. My only recommendation to the company would be to make a product or service that allows you to do a sort of pick a brick, choosing how many of what pieces in what color, just with these higher quality and less expensive brickyard bricks!
