Well designed and built solar powered lantern
This is a wonderful solar powered lantern. Can also be charged electrically. It has the option of various levels of brightness and anon/off flashing mode. It has a built in flashlight and folds accordion style into a very small packet.Very lightweight for backpacking.Really enjoyed using it during a recent week- long camping trip.

Very useful, very functional, get several
These are awesome solar lights! The come in so handy when the power goes out. I love that they can be used like a very bright flashlight, or pull them up and have a nice lantern that lights up an area better than the flashlight. They charge quickly and I have yet to have one quit on me. I'm sure it would eventually if I used it long enough, but they've done well through 4-5 hour power outages so far. I keep them on a window sill so they are always fully charged when I need them. I've purchased them for gifts also and everyone likes them. I've not tested their water resistance or used them other than as described. But I highly recommend them.

Handy little camp light!
This little camp light is great! It's perfect to hang up on a hook or in my case a tree branch when outdoors. The light came charged. I set it on my window sill for easy charging after using it. I really like that I can use it as a powerful, bright flashlight. An improvement when using it as a flashlight would be to make it easier to grip with ridges or something. It also is not a C charger so I'm unable to charge my phone with it. That's not an issue with me as I have other ways, but something to consider if that is one of the reasons for purchasing.

Handy light for variety of uses
Great light for shuttle to bright light - use for travel with overnight stays - light is adjustable to needs when hotels night light is inadequate or having to leave a light on that is too bright ie having to leave a bathroom light on in a new environment at night and food isn’t adjustable or light reflects on mirror usually across from bathroom! small but mightycan be solar charged so good for camping to or as a flashlight…

Great idea but not ready for prime time
Great idea and I bought 4 of them for my emergency preparedness kit. They are compact and would take up little space in a storage container. Battery life was very good. After fully charging all 4 lanterns I turned them all on at 0700 as I left for work and they were still on when I returned home at 1730. Admittedly they were very dim by then but they were still on 10.5 hours later. Unfortunately the accordion lens is very flimsy and I don't believe will hold up well with opening and closing the lantern. Pulling the lanterns apart to open took a little effort and the plastic lens could easily be damaged in the process (my opinion), with the lens tearing away from either the top or bottom of the lantern. It is for this reason I returned the 4 lanterns. Also one lantern was flopped over when I came home from work. The box it was in had been cut down the front (not by me) and the lens may have been damaged at that time. As I said the lens feels very flimsy and easily damaged.

Worked even after being in storage for a long while
Well, I had my first blackout in a couple of years last night and got to test this out and was very pleased. For a small item it was enough to make my rather large living room navigable. It has 3 brightness levels with white and soft white light, then a setting for red light and then a flashing red light. Took it into the bathroom - perfect. The light is easy on the eyes and even though I got it over a year ago, it was still fully charged.
