Will it destroy the eggs too?

I agree with this suggestion for double sure destruction of the bugs. I do find the pods work best. It is too easy to go though the liquid too fast. However, this does help with only the washer and even cold water. Does it kill everything? Hard to know. But I have bought it several times, not really for bed bugs but for ANY bugs. But do not shrink your clothes. Wash as usual with this.

Must you use hot water to get this to work?

No it’s formulated to work in cold water. I don’t use hot because hot water shrinks and makes colored clothes bleed.

Is this a standalone detergant or addative?

Stand alone Detergent. I use it to wash all my clothes just in case .
