Great product no questions asked 👍
This rack is amazing g and good price. This rack cost 200$ to 250$ here in Costa Rica. I mostly use for my 6' shortboard but have even put a huge longboard on it with no problems, took it slow, was a little wobbly but an extra bungie cord helped tons. I have even gone as far as putting 2 boards on this rack with just 1 extra bungie without a problem! I definitely recommend

Not for 8 foot boards
So I admit I took a chance buying this rack because it says the max is 8 foot boards. I only used it for a 8 foot foam board, think wavestorm. There are two bolts on each arm of the rack. One of those bolts on each arm broke so each arm has only one bolt now. That had nothing to do with the weight or size of the board I used. So it doesn’t tighten as well as it could so that’s a problem. Even if I tightened it as best as possible the arms still come loose when I go over a bump. So yes an 8 foot board is too big and too heavy. Also if if I tighten it with all my strength and it does hold for a quick ride, it’s super wobbly and sketchy with such a big board. I’ve honestly never tried it with a short board because I don’t want to risk it coming loose and dragging my board along the sidewalk. Maybe it works, I’ll never know. I am going to spend the extra money and get a rack that has the arms(hooks) coming from two places on the bike. These racks that have both arms coming from one place are definitely not for long boards or even fun boards. If you have a short board that you don’t care about then yes this rack is great for the money.

Functional, but low quality
It's all right. It functions well enough, carrying my board the 1 mile from my house to the beach and back. But, it feels super flimsy and like it probably won't last the whole year. It wasn't difficult to install, but it definitely wasn't designed for my bike style, so I had to get a little creative with the bolt placements. Between that and the flimsy-ness of the design, next time I will probably just pay full price to get something that I have more confidence in. Quality, below average. Value for money, decent. Wouldn't really "recommend" it unless you're just super short on cash at the moment... but given that you (and I) would likely have to buy another one after a few months of usage my suggestion is just to get a higher quality one that'll last longer.

Quality
This is not a cheap product! Very disappointed with the quality! It arrived with many parts broken already! I returned it
