Howard Johnsons 7133 16-16-16 Fertilizer, 20 lb

Bought this to correct the missing nutrients as per soil test. In just 2 weeks results are lush green. Put down Mid May and now its end, results are great. It is fast release, disappears very fast. Put down before rain. Does have some fillers

good value , i use since late January now it early march trees start to bloom flower.

This is exactly what I wanted, a granular general-purpose fertilizer. However, the Amazon product description says it's a liquid. I only bought it because I read a product review that mentioned this issue.I don't know what's happened. Generic 16-16-16 used to be the general purpose standard, readily available here in Northern California. Now, I can't find it locally and had to order this brand-name product from Indiana. However, it shipped very quickly, well within the predicted time frame.

My brother (grape farmer in California) suggested this product as a good all-around fertilizer. I tried it this year and it works very well on my vegetables, fruit plants, grape vines, strawberries, tomatoes, and even lawn grass. I highly recommend it for all fertilizer uses.

My grass is hybrid bermuda growing in a very hot summer climate with water rationing and over the years I have found that this product is perfect for maintaining a healthy lawn with minimum watering in conjunction with a product called "Revive" which I also couldn't find locally this year but got it from Amazon.

This has no time released pellets. Even though they are several colors they all dissolve at the same time. DO NOT USE TOO MUCH. AND THESE DISSOLVE RATHER FAST. It was never advertised as "time released" but the size and color of the pellets would give a person this impression and if label instructions are not read there is a risk of burning your plants

Plants and grass lovely and green

I purchased this 16-16-16 NPK rated fertilizer per a SOIL sample I had analyzed, my soil was weak in ALL THREE categories. The bottom line the fertilizer did the trick so far.
