it would definitely have to be way better than that cooler for her to ever use it
My aunt has had a small cooler she has taken on all her trips for the last 20 years. I knew if I bought her a new cooler, it would definitely have to be way better than that cooler for her to ever use it. Turns out she really likes it and used it heavily during her last trip to Florida. She loved the bright red color as well as the ability to roll the cooler on its wheels. The adjustable high handle worked well since she is on the shorter side. She spent a few weeks in the hotel in Florida and said this cooler was great for getting ice and taking it back to the hotel room. She said it was the perfect size for two bottles of wine and a few snacks. Great buy for older folks especially who can't lift heavier coolers and carry them over long distances. Also fits really well in the floorboard in the back seat of a car.

Modifications....
Reading the other reviews (replayreb), I like the idea of a short carry handle, so I added one, and it worked out great. But why stop there. I also hot-melt glued hook&loop to the lid and front, to prevent those tip-over spills. I also need to transport a wide stadium chair. The chair will slip over the handle, but the handle is not long enough to extend out from the top. So, I raised the handle mounting on the back of the cooler about 1.5". Now my pull-handle sticks out above the chair. Lastly, replayreb gave the suggestion about the rope carry handle. I did two things different. Between the knot of the rope, and the underside of the handle, I added a washer. This will prevent the raw edge of the drilled hole to wear away at the knot. I also added a piece of pvc to the rope to act as a carry handle (so the rope doesn't cut into your hand. Hope this gives good ideas to people. Great cooler.

Small, easily portable. Great for bus trips.
Purchased this for myself (it meets the size requirements of various venues) but it was immediately taken over by my 80 year old mother who takes it on the bus when she goes grocery shopping. If the bus stop doesn't have a shelter or bench, she sits down on it (she weighs 145lb)! It's quite small, but then... she needs to be able to get it up the bus steps. She also takes it downtown if she wants to see a parade - again because it provides a seat for her.

How to add a carrying handle to this cooler...
I loved the size of this cooler but needed cup holders and a carrying handle for the beach so I added my own. You simply drill a hole down through each of those bulbous handles, pull a poly rope through and knot the ends. Works perfectly and looks like it should be there. Check out the product images I uploaded down the right side of the main product page so you can see what it looks like. For detailed instructions and pictures on how to do it, do an Internet search for "Mounting cup holders to a mini cooler" instructable since I can't link here. I really liked this cooler before but adding cup holders and a carrying handle made it the perfect cooler.

Great, Compact Cooler on Wheels
A useful, compact version of a typical cooler on wheels. I got this cooler on sale and for that price, it was a great deal. The cooler pulls easily and holds plenty of gator/poweraid drinks for my hockey tournaments. My only slight complaint is that the collapsible handle bars do not lock into the fully extended position as strong as I would like. The cooler cannot be pushed, because any slight resistance will start collapsing the telescoping handle. Another slight complaint is that the cooler lacks a handle, so it could be carried in one hand. Other than that, this Coleman cooler is a great buy.

Wheel broke first use....
I've been staring at this broken thing for a year wanting to take the time to tell people that the darn wheel broke the very first time I ever used it. I don't understand how it has such good reviews. It's small yea, but I wanted just a small rolling cooler to bring a couple bottles of water and yogurt and coffee creamer on ice in and out of hotel rooms when we travel. On vacation , we were driving, the wheel broke off, not even repairable, in the parking lot on the way in. So mad. Useless product to us. :(

LOVE IT!!
This is a Coleman, top notch, one of the best coolers out there. This cooler was bought for my diabetic friend who always travels with drinks. It fits perfectly behind his seat in his car, then he can easily wheel it around with him everywhere he goes. It fits a 12 pack of soda cans, or 10 bottles of water with a full bag of ice. It also has a little compartment in the lid for napkins or other small items.
