Sort of, the 602053 is just a different length of wire. Mine came with tool and silicon. I have actually purchase all three lengths and they all came with everything needed to install in an existing socket.

Q: What is the recommended depth to install these lights?

Not sure what’s recommended but mine are two-three & four feet deep. My first set lasted about 2 years I’m on the 2 nd set. They don’t seem to burn out but develop leaks that short the power out. Sooo probably the shallower the better.

Q: Is it the same model of the light as the 602055 but with the shorter, 50ft cable?

Yea, it comes with a 30ft cable.
