Great answer to my need.
Excellent product. Exactly what I wanted. Very compact. No need to build and design something myself. This is made perfectly. Very easy to assemble. Read directions. Completely installed in 15 minutes. Takes up no extra space when stored.I highly recommend this cover.

My first generator! This thing is GREAT!
Bought this recently and love it! Seems fairly quiet for the size, but I would imagine a Honda inverter gen would be even quieter. Still, for $1,100 or so, this was a better value than a $4,000 Honda.Setting it up was fairly easy, but the instructions should have mentioned that you shouldn't break in the motor with a full synthetic oil. I know better, but I was in a hurry when I bought the oil and wasn't thinking. The gen comes with a funnel and hose, a very thoughtful touch. Also, the oil fill is super trick and has a wrap-around wire to hold it up when not in use. I had to buy a used baking pan at Goodwill to act as a drain pan. Four dollars, and I was good to go.Starting this thing up was a snap; the push button starter and battery were awesome, and the gen started fast. I plan on buying a float charger for the battery. When I did my first test run, it powered my whole house, minus the central AC compressor. I have a portable AC unit for my spray-foamed attic, and it ran that just fine. I also have two fridges; no problem with any of these things running at once. Even better, it was able to run the Mitsubishi mini split in the garage!!! It's a 12K BTU unit, FWIW, but I can't recall how many amps it uses. We could sleep in the garage if the portable AC unit isn't good enough. Also bought the Champion generator cover for rain use. It's a nice piece of kit and seems quite sturdy. The fabric seems marine-rated (I am not a sailor). If I had to nitpick, I wished the wheels were a bigger diameter so it would make traversing steps much easier. The gen has to live in my detached garage, and this means having to bring it up a number of hardscaped steps. I have wooden ramps for a snowblower and was able to haul it up to the sloped grass area, far easier than trying to haul it up six steps. At 185lbs and 5' 11", I'm fairly strong, but pulling this up the steps would have been a pain, and I would have worried about scraping the bottom of the tubular frame, thereby promoting corrosion.I hope this gen lasts for many years, but, based on the reviews, it should be good. Global warming, we're (sort of) ready for you!

Middle of Atmospheric River Rain Storm in California
Lights went out in Woodland and found myself setting up the Storm Shield. Easy to set up and and place the tent over the generator. I recommend it to anyone who is planning ahead or stuck in in a storm without power. Perfectly covered our 8000 Watt Duel Fuel Generator.

Well made
Impressed with the build quality and material. Had it out today during a storm and worked great keeping the generator dry.

The instructions could have been a little better
I found that it was not that difficult to assemble this cover. However, the mounting instructions for the clamps could have provided a little more information. It says for my generator to mount the clamps 9" from the bottom of the gas tank. It would have helped if it said 9 inches from the gas tank frame to the top of the clamp. I started out at 9"to the bottom of the clamp because it looked so low. It turns out that it should be 9 inches to the top of the clamp is what was needed.Otherwise it seems sturdy and should protect the generator from any weather that we face in the future.
