Installed as a replacement into a 2015 Tiffin Allegro Bus which suffered from the usual aluminum bracket degradation that fills the void behind the large plastic covers that bulges and cracks them. Exact quality replacement! I re-used the original stainless bracket mounting screws since the new ones supplied were much longer. No need to drill new holes. New brackets mount right up to existing factory holes. Nice seat for 1/3 what Tiffin sells for. Old seat removal entails breaking away the plastic covers and using a small hammer & punch to drive out the corroded pins. Be sure to silicone caulk the back of new brackets to keep out moisture and prolong their life.

My husband and I are older and added this seat during installation of our new walk-in shower thinking it would be great in later years. We use it all the time!! It is incredibly sturdy as well as beautiful. It can be folded up out of the way if you don’t want or need the seat and easy to fold down when you want to use it. We also thought this seat would make bathing my handicapped grandson easier when he and his family visit and I can’t wait for them to try it.

I previously had a similar shower seat that had marked corrosion of the bracket making it unusable. The “plastic” cover over the wall bracket was not sealed with caulk, which is the likely cause. I was able to install this one using the same mounting holes as the prior one so I was fortunate enough to not need to use the template. This one was pretty easy to mount the brackets and then push the pins through the bars on the seat. Just be sure you apply sealant around the edges of the section covers. Don’t know how long it will last but happy so far.

It is a great manufactured product from a good company

When my contractor installed it, he pointed out to me that it was bending and would not apparently hold my weight. This would be fine if all you’re doing is planning on resting your foot on it to wash your legs, but I definitely wouldn’t sit on this. Contractor said he placed studs in the wall and used the lag bolts that came with it. Installed correctly. Poor product don’t buy.

Sturdy, attractive and functional—exactly what was needed.

Haven't installed yet, but it looks sturdy , hardware included, should be sufficient for my wife, she's way under the 500lbs the seat is suppose to withstand, lol

I ordered this item not realizing it wouldn’t work in my situation. I have asked for a full refund with a prepaid label and am hoping they will be kind enough to do so. I’ll update review when I hear back.
