It's perfect for the thick extension cord I used it for, its colour is close to my carpet, there was no need to tape it down, I just unrolled it, put some books on it for a couple of days and now it stays flat. I just wish it was longer, I've ordered another one.

First of all, the item itself looks fine visually when on the floor, you get what you see. However I had 2 big problems that hinder how helpful it is around the house. First big issue I have is the gap below for you to put your cords in is way to wide. Due to how wide it is, the cords easily slip out constantly even when using the adhesive. It would be better to make it easy to pull open, but have it fully close to keep the cords in it.This gap also has a negative effect on the adhesive itself. The adhesive has a much smaller width than the slot you place the cords in. Because of this I am unable to really place the adhesive on the product really well to where I don't either have it disconnecting from the cover, or have the cords sliding out. This would not be a big issue if they gave you more so perhaps you could put it on both sides, but it is only enough for you to tape it straight down the middle.

I used this to cover wires on my floor. It is stuck in the form it came in and will not unravel. The double sided tape they give you for it doesn’t work, but it does stick to the floor or other surface and leaves behind sticky stuff and pieces of foam from it. This is a terrible product do not waste your money.
