Will this mount hold a dell latitude 7420 laptop?

Hello - Our tablet cradles are designed for tablet use only and will not support holding any type of laptop.

Will it work with my backup display which is 4.875" tall by 7" wide?

The spring loaded cradle can hold a device between 6.25 and 11.5 and up to 1.25" thick. As long as it's within those dimensions and is "box shaped" meaning it doesn't have any strange protrusions or anything and is relatively flat, it should fit.
