This was an awesome purchase for AC units! I highly recommend. Came with easy to install instructions and the end product looks professionally done.

Really nice finish and easy to cut to size, tape isn’t the greatest, suggest you buy a roll of white duct tape, I replaced with that after a few weeks, and it just holds better.

It took longer than I thought to cover the draft areas and it did not stay I had to redo twice

Thick, sturdy foam panels. Plenty of tape.I put these on ac already installed. In the future i wonder if keeping them attached to the accordion panels, removing them from the unit and keeping flat would work for reinstalling next year.Advice: use very sharp scissors or knife, extra hands might help putting taped surfaces in place neatly, can reposition carefully tape on the panel but not so much tape stuck to itself.I folded back the strip of tape applied to the panel to help slide it into place. Then unfolded to seal to window frame.Quick update!1. Beyond great insulating, these look so good my picky sister said it looks like a wall installation. Makes the whole unit visually blend into the wall. This is why i looked hard for white ones when most options are black.2. Make sure the ac unit plastic telescoping “wings” fully protect the foam and tape from the weather. One side of mine was cracked and the moisture it let get in caused mold on the outside of the tape. I will be ordering a new set to redo that.

I got these panels because we put a window unit in my son's room to keep it cooler in the summer. His is the only room that gets almost constant sun so it stays considerably warmer than the rest of the house. I wanted to make sure that the unit was insulated so it didn't add to the problem. They've been installed for about a month now and work wonderfully. They weren't hard to install but it wasn't easy either. They came with tape and all so that was convenient. I'd recommend to anyone wishing to insulate a window unit.

We have a beach vacation rental and go through window ac units in the bedrooms and this by far has been the most quiet, most efficient and most long lasting of any units we’ve had. Worth spending a little more for this AC.

Cutting the foam and fitting it to the window frame was super easy. The white cover blends nicely with the rest of the window frame. I wish that both sides were covered with a waterproof material so that it could be used in substitution for an accordion panel, but it's definitely not waterproof.
