LivFresh Dental Gel does not contain fluoride and does not make cavity prevention claims. Having said that, a recently published peer reviewed research study compared the rate of remineralization of teeth (depositing calcium on the teeth to make them harder) for LivFresh Dental Gel without fluoride to a standard fluoride toothpaste. For people who want to include fluoride along with the benefits provided by LivFresh Dental Gel, we suggest using a fluoride mouthwash in conjunction with the dental gel.

Q: Does it remove tartar?

LIVFRESH Dental Gel works by repelling plaque (which has live bacteria). Tartar on the other hand, has dead bacteria. However, since plaque leads to tartar, after your first cleaning (while using LIVFRESH Dental Gel), significantly less plaque will lead to significantly less tartar buildup. In your first professional cleaning you should expect significant lower plaque, and improved oral health. Since your tartar levels formed before you started LIVFRESH will not change, you will have some tartar, but it should be easy to take out, i.e. with less scraping.

Q: I'd like to order 6 at a time as I used to do. Is this not possible any longer?
