A fine printer if you don't need it for much. That doesn't mean it isn't capable I just don't need one for much beyond printing return labels and the odd list of passwords for safekeeping beyond any password manager/computer you're using. Just remember to keep them updated. As for the wi-fi aspect that worked just fine after an initial glitch saying it couldn't use wi-fi and I'd have to use a usb cable which while I was looking for one it just all of a sudden connected via wi-fi after I pressed the button that looks like two links of a chain. By then I'd found the correct type of usb cable it required and it isn't a usb to usb one, usb one end and squarish male printer connector on the other. I keep all my old cables from older computers/printers etc. clicky keyboards and even wired usb mice, saved me many times and imo Canon could've included the cable just in case. If you just read the instructions all the way thru especially about what you need to do to insert the paper into its slot/tray-light blue color needs to be pulled apart gently to the left and right, it's on the very bottom don't let seeing the guide wheels make you think it takes it from the paper return tray, had I read all the way thru it would've been nicer. No need to go online for this. Scans just fine. Had to download a driver pkg that was easy to find online and it works with iMac Print Center app, will print both sides if you want and it prints fast and with clear nice crisp edges. Use draft if just B&W or you might be replacing ink cartridges sooner than you want/need to, one of the easiest printers I've used for this task. It has an above top feed for printing envelopes and cards, an led pane with a fairly easy to understand pictograph set of buttons all for under $100. Takes up the usual amount of space with just one plug no transformer to hide somewhere, nice for once. Just buy it, you'll like it.

I decided to get a different brand that I haven't had before and so far I'm happy with purchase. Prints nicely and quickly. Easy to print from app on my phone.

It works great!Installation was easy. Just followes the instructions and downloaded the software like it said, and the rest was a breeze.I don't think the software interface would be intuitive for someone that isn't used to computers though. It's very minimal and lacks user_friendly controls. I wouldn't get this for my parents, but for me it's a fantastic printer/scanner for my needs.

I just got it today, and it works great. The printing is a little loud. The setup was east. No complaints.

Hopefully this printer is as awesome as everyone has said because this set up is trash. I homeschool my children and im trying to have it set up before tomorrow but of course it’s not setting up as planned and technical support isn’t open at the moment. It’s referring me to the online manual and I’m doing exactly as I’m told yet it still not working. My mom was a medical transcriptionist and did medical billing at home so I’m not unfamiliar with computers or printers and even with previous experience and knowledge I still can’t figure this crap out

Not a good printer at all . Hard to set up not good quality no direction in the boxes and the app is terrible

Bought this Canon printer after buying/returning one of the 'two-letter' brand's that was absolutely awful. I've always had good luck with Canon printers, and this one works great so far. Easy set up, good quality prints. Nice deal for the price.
