The kit was a little hard to understand the directions.
I would say this book nook was a little hard to understand the directions. The directions and pictures were not clear. Also the lights they show after the piece is put together are not bright enough, you can barely see inside the unit. I will have to change the lights, it will be a Xmas gift, I cannot give it with this light set they provided. Looks like the bulbs they sent were a very dim blue set. I will add you should use no rechargeable batteries. I was using chargeable batteries, and that’s why the lights were dim.

Fun, detailed
Bought this as a project my hubby and I could do together. It's been fun.

Missing battery pack and awful instructions
The pieces break easily. The instructions are basically “do what the picture shows” with unintelligible pictures. I’m 90% of the way through and just realized my kit didn’t include the battery pack. (I ordered this months ago so I can’t return it) I was able to put together this kit because I’m very experienced at building models like this, but the instructions are terrible and the pieces do not fit together well

A fun build
This is a well designed and fun to build laser kit. No surprises or major head scratching. Parts are pretty easy to remove with a sharp #11 blade hobby knife ( although I now prefer scalpels bought on Amazon) and a little thought to see where the parts attach to the wood. The supplied mirror makes the scene appear much longer than it is which is nice. Treat the mirror with respect! I got glue on mine and smudged it a bit.O scale figures and details that are bought separately can be added( I added a bicycle leaning against one wall as well as a few cats and dog figures bought at my local hobby shop).Take your time, have fun, don’t rush. The joy is in the building process not in finishing quickly.

Love it.
This was my first time putting together something like this. I really enjoyed it. I did have to wet and flatten one of the pieces under some books as it was slightly warped and didn’t fit right, but otherwise it was great quality. I found the first 3 steps to be the hardest as they were a lot of small pieces that cracked easily, but once I got past that I found it fairly easy to put together. Instructions were easy to follow and it came out really cute. If I were to do it again, I might paint some pieces for a bit of color, but this was my first time doing something like this, so I didn’t stray from the directions. Overall I thought it was a great kit.
