I like these for project battery supplies. Using 3 14500 Li-ion batteries can get close to 12 volts and work for 12v supply. Using 3 AA Alkaline batteries will produce 4.5v close enough to run 5 volt devices. The switches seem to hold up well. The covers lock in place pretty good, but be aware although they have a place for a screw to lock the covers on, they don't come with the screws.

You can't access the switch if you want to permanently mount the battery holder on it's back like you would do in pretty much every single application. Whoever thought this would be a good idea is a complete idiot and should go clean toilets for a living as they have no business being an engineer.

Used to extend the capacity of my Zigby window sensors. I modified the case to run 4 AA batteries with 2 parallel circuits of 2 serial batters to get more ampacity @ 3 volts. Appearance is good and I like the on/off switch functionality. I would buy again.

Only improvement might be better visibility of open indicator since is tight (is good) and afraid of over stressing it if try opening from wrong end and direction.

These are extremely useful and they save you the hassle of adding your own switch. One of these and a little heat shrink tubing and you have a professional looking project. Thanks, Wayllshine! Some of these will definitely be on my next order!

This unit worked well for my use. The wires were plenty long enough and the exact same as the unit I was linking it up to.The cover has a nice fit and the switch works perfectly. Nice and compact. Very pleased.

Excellent product for the price. Used all 6 packs, had no issues with any of them. My only comment would be that the wires are a high gauge. Still easily usable, but should be noted.

Ordered 120 of these for a school project and 10 of them were missing contacts for the batteries. Fortunately I only needed 105 so I returned the bad ones and got a refund. The ones that worked did their job and the price was right.
