This is a great buy!
I have a bigger version of this backpack that I use more, but I like this one as well. It’s a strong, well-made backpack that really comes in handy for trips. Sometimes I travel with a tote bag or a regular backpack. I like to take the foldable backpack as well because sometimes I get tired holding up my tote bag on one shoulder when this backpack easily uses two shoulders and is waterproof for those unexpected European showers. Many pockets inside. Two side pockets for water bottles or an umbrella. Straps that tighten and buckle them in securely. This is wonderfully lightweight and a good deal.

Good light duty pack
It's a nice lightweight backpack. Well thought out pockets, mesh side pockets that actually hold water bottles. The zippers are a bit weak so I'm not sure how long it will last. But for the price it's worth it.

Perfect for Lots of Uses
I bought my pack in September 2017.. It has been on all 7 continents 🌎plus above the Arctic Circle❄️ It shows no wear. Is highly flexible on what you can pack in it. I have even wrapped my Nikon DSLR camera and a separate lens in multiple towels to carry separately. It is soooooo light weight but durable. It is not waterproof though. You put a lot in this pack! You will love it!It is the PERFECT SIZE to put under seat on plane. This pack, through my world travels, is the best purchase I have made. I also you it for hiking as my Camelback water bladder fits in it perfect. Cross country ski pack too!Enjoy

Tried and true backpack for travel and hiking
I bought this backpack to take on a cruise in 2022. Since then, I've started using it for hiking as well as it holds everything I need for a day hike and it's water resistant and not nearly as heavy as my daypack. I'm not sure it holds 35L, but it holds what I need. I've been taking it on flights as well as my "under the seat" personal item. It fits under the seat nicely, although I never have it stuffed full - usually my purse and camera. I've carried my DSLR and a zoom lens in there, which are kind of heavy, and I've never had any issues with straps tearing. I do agree that it would nice if the straps were a bit padded because it's not comfortable with a heavy load, however, I doubt that it would be foldable and that is a nice feature to have. It started out as my travel backpack and now it's my for everything backpack. I've used it a lot over the last three years and I highly recommend it. FYI...I don't do reviews as soon as I receive an item - I try them out first. This is a keeper.

The perfect foldable travel backpack!
This is hands down the best travel backpack! I love how it folds up compactly and fits easily into a suitcase, making it a perfect addition to any trip. It's incredibly functional and easy to refold, which is a huge plus. While the fabric isn't super thick, I’ve had this backpack for years without any rips or quality issues—it’s surprisingly durable! The size is just right for hiking, weekend trips, or all-day excursions. It doesn’t have built-in security features, but the pockets are well-placed, and I’ve never had any issues keeping my items secure.I loved it so much that I bought another one in a different color! My only small complaint is that it doesn’t hold its shape unless it’s fully packed, and the straps have minimal padding. That said, as a chronic overpacker, I really appreciate that it folds down into a tiny square to save space.I highly recommend this backpack and often suggest it to friends. If you need something lightweight, packable, and reliable, this is a great choice!

Great backpack for travel
Bought one for both my husband and me for bus tour in Scotland. Nice light backpack that could pack into suitcase when not needed. Was able to pack heavy sweater and change of clothes in the inner section. Outside pockets held lots of smaller items with easy access.

Lightweight, packs up small into a neat package, lots of pockets and well organized!!
Venture Pal Ultralight Lightweight Packable Foldable Travel Camping Hiking Outdoor Sports Backpack Daypack (Orange)So I bought this for a cruise to the Caribbean and didn't want a pack that was going to take up a lot of space in my luggage, but wanted something small to carry in case I bought something, needed a jacket, towel, bottles of water (or beer) and this fit the bill. SO, for my basic needs, this perfectly fit the bill. Now I do a lot of long distance hiking and camping, and you WILL NOT be happy if that is what you are trying to do with this. It doesn't have much in the way of back support, you really can't pack a weekends worth of hiking gear and sleeping stuff into this pack. While it does have nice shoulder straps with a clip/webbing to hold the straps together across your chest, it is too light and flexible to really stand up the packing a lot of stuff and supporting it and supporting the load while hiking a long distance. But if you were doing that, you would have packed your bag at home, picked a sturdier backpack with supports and you couldn't fold it up and take it with you in a package about the size of 2 paperback books. On the other hand, if you are looking for a daypack that compacts down nicely into a small package and use it when you get to your destination, I haven't seen a better option. It will carry a lot of stuff and is pretty durable as a daypack. It isn't waterproof, and its only slightly water resistant. If you are in a downpour, some of your stuff will get soaked, but that happens in "regular" backpacks all the time also. The bright orange color was great for us because when we went swimming or wanted to see it, it was very visible and I felt if someone were going to try to take off with it, they wouldn't get far without someone noticing. The material is a light nylon, probably not very durable if you drag it along the ground or catch it on stuff, but sturdy enough if you are just walking and carrying "soft good". I think a sharp item would punch through this eventually, and you probably can't carry a case of glass bottles, but I had probably 20 lbs of "soft goods" in there and it worked just fine.So take it for what it is and for about twenty something dollars it served its purpose.Email me with questions. I didn't get a discount and wasn't asked to do a favorable review, but thought I would give some insight for a good product. All in all a good purchase and it served it purpose and I will take it on vacation with us wherever we go. If you've got questionsWe went on a cruise and I fit 6 towels for the beach, 4 cans of Angry Orchard, plus my Cruise ID and my cell phone, and other stuff, sunscreen, lip gloss, contact lens solution, brush, hair stuff for my wife, and there were lots of little places we could have put other things, but just didn't utilize. It kept everything nicely organized.
