Bought this in 2022… (buying again)….. i dropped the jar on concrete floor, and the plastic lid broke… the glass jar is perfectly fine.-wish i could buy another lid on its own, but don’t mind buying this again

With all the talk about how far above all the rest this is, with how much it costs, and how it's on so many recommended lists... I really expected more. Possibly some special lid or seal? It's just a hard plastic lid on a glass jar. That's it. When you put the lid on, you can feel the grind of plastic on glass.I mean, I suppose it's doing a fine job... I can't smell anything around the seam, until I open it and then oh yeah, I can smell what's stored!So I'm not saying this is bad, but, I suppose that does mean that you can probably just save a lot of money just get any decently made hard plastic on glass container.
