4 Foot 40 Watt LED Grow Light 8140SE2-GL1 Veg Flower Budding

Nice and bright - have them up and running in one area, not the other. I will let you know later how well the plants grew under them. Pretty controlled experiment. Same size pots, same dirt, same plants from seeds, same watering. 1/2 under the lights, 1/2 under incandescent lights. Doing this with my science class. I am impressed how bright they really are.

Terrible performance of the led light for plant growth. The Good: The leds light up. Fixture does not seem to overheat. The Bad: The ends on the fixture are plastic. The seller did a lousy job in preparing for shipping so the plastic ends are both cracked. Since I needed a 4 ft light, the leds all light up and I am able to hang it even with the ends cracked, I decided to keep it. I figured the replacement would likely be cracked or worse due to seller shipping practices. For $60 I expected better quality. UPDATED REVIEW: Not recommended. Plants died.

UPDATE: 7/6/17All the Neofinetia falcata overwintered until May under these lights look terrible. They are alive and not dying, but they didn't grow at all and leaves turned a purplish tinge.New 40w LED white shop lights are now 15 bucks each. I did a side by side with mesclun microgreens under 24th lights. Trays were planted in peat moss mix on 6/23/17. The white shop lights blew the LED grow lights away so I may just throw these grow lights away. The LED tray is on left, the white LED shop lights on the right. Pic taken 13 days after planting.Arrived quickly. take all my orchids in for the winter and start seeds on a 4 shelf 4' bakers rack and 2 of these fit perfectly hanging from one of the shelves. Not sure how it will work with the orchids since it will take a while to see any results. Ist brighter than expected. It's light and has a slim profIle. The plants will nlt be receiving any natural light ao im hoping thks works. It was less expensive than buying a 4 lamp HO T5 setup and replacing the bulbs each year. I also have an agro led which cost more than 300 with bulbs as well as a cheapo 2 lamp HO T5 on the other shelves. I'love be starting some seeds under each shelf to compare. I hold know how this holds up to a regular T5 within 2 months.

I had been waiting to see the new growth on all the plants I have under these. I currently have 3 of them and a T5 grow light kit. I discovered a plant that I had just stuck 2 little vines in it to root and placed it under the LED's. I'm happy with the growth. I've also posted a picture of them.

After 2 yrs of service my desk lamp doesn't function due to its "touch" feature to turn it on. Will not buy another "touch to operate" light or other items

Although It won't be until Feb/Mar when I start planting seeds indoors, I am using it to winter over some geraniums from which I will take cuttings and propagate under the lights. Only concern is that since the "weed" is now legal in MA, my neighbors, seeing the "glow" from my basement, may think otherwise of me.

Good light. Plants seem to like it. I have been running two of these lights for approximately one year. The cuttings/clones love it ( Roots in 10 days @ 80 Degrees). The vegetative plants love it. The plants have very close inter-nodes spacing and many stems.

Got my 40w led couple days ago and I love it. It's very bright and my plants are showing they love it 😊 very satisfied with the whole set up 😎👍 ty lights of America will be buying another
