I used boric acid to treat BV very successfully in my early twenties. Fast forward two decades and a hysterectomy later, and here I am finding myself having to rebalance things again. So these suppositories have have been very useful. I don't think it will be this easy for every woman, but for me, one night is all I usually need to reset my natural flora.I found the reusable applicator to be helpful too! I really did. Especially for when my nails are wet, lol. I personally do not have any trouble using it; nor find did I find the edges to be sharp and/or painful. But then again, pain is subjective and our tolerance for pain changes as we age. Anyway, I am thrilled that I found this brand and tried these. I will happily use them up and would come back to buy from this brand again.

For reference: I’m prone to having my vaginal chemistry easily thrown off balance due to having my period, intercourse, or just existing.I used this suppository a week ago to treat the early onset of BV. It was right after my period had finished and I started to just barely smell “the smell”. I immediately popped one of these capsules in and after just two days of dosing, I was already noticing a big difference and feeling balanced again. This stuff actually works!I really don’t like the fact that this bottle of vaginal suppositories comes with only one applicator though. That’s just asking for trouble in my opinion. I rather just wash my hands really well before inserting than risk bacteria growth in the applicator after so many uses.
