A little runny at first. Realized I needed to shake it up a little as it had kind of separated in transition. After that it worked beautifully for my small project.

This is a good product that we overlook in our tool boxes. It comes in handy that first time you need it and then later when you have to repair something. Elmer's makes high quality products and this is no exception! I've known their name and products since I was a little kid, and I'm not so young anymore. This was easy to use, nice package with an easy to close top, the filler spread easy, and bonded well. It was easy to clean up, especially when you don't use too much and can easily wipe away the excess quickly. I simply tooled this in place, sometimes I find that if I use a small piece of paper towel slightly dampened, I can get a nice smooth surface that I don't have much sanding to do. On larger fills, I just plan on doing a few fills rather than try to put too much in and have it become lumpy or too bulbous and then you have too much sanding.

I purchased this for a minor repair on the windowpane. It is easy to apply, durable, brown in color, odorless, and reasonably priced. I would buy it again.

This product arrived with the contents hardened. I soaked the bottle in hot water overnight on 2 separate occasions with the results being no change. Finally, I cut the bottle open from the bottom, since the contents would not squeeze through the top in a normal fashion. I poured the dried contents into a glass bowl, and added white vinegar to soften it. Mixing the contents with my fingers helped, but the solution was still not of normal consistency to properly apply to my work.

I've been using this for wooden crafts. It is thick enough to spread smoothly and retain a shape or surface you are filling. It has a quick initial drying that allows you to continue with your project and hardens nicely so it can be sanded before staining if desired. It didn't bother my skin and I thought the price was reasonable. The amount inside the tube is good for arts and crafts and medium wood repair to furniture, frames. If you have a nice decorated picture frame with some broken scrolling, it would do a good repair.This would be a must have if you have a puppy trying to outgrow a destructive chew stage.

Works & cleanup easy. Once dry after 24 hours, used wood stain pen to match wood flooring.

It works. If you can squeeze it out of the tube.I’d just buy it in the little tub next time.

I've not been considerably happy with Elmer's wood filler in the past, but I needed something for exterior use that was both paintable and stainable. I'm now on my fourth tube and I could not be happier with the results. This wood filler performs better than expected. Once dry it forms a strong, dense fill that sands well to match surrounding surface levels. Paint adheres as per regular wood. Staining isn't so great as it tends to be lighter than regular wood, however, touch up with darker stain will remedy this problem.I'm hoping future batches of this product are just as good.
