Q: Hi, I don't know if this a stupid question but is this for cpu delid only or can be used on in substitute of reg compound?

I just used it after delidding an 8700K and 4690K processors. The very large and bright alert/warning that comes inside the package warns (Do Not Use on Aluminum surfaces). I have a Noctua D15 with a copper/nickle plated heat sink. I used one of the best thermal pastes between the CPU and the D15 heat sinks. It will, the base of the NH-U14S is nickel plated copper. Noctua chose to nickel plate the copper for better wear resistance, oxidation, and corrosion resistance.

Q: Why does conductonaut have a lower "extreme overclocking" rating than kryonaut? Which is better for gpu?

Extreme overclocking involves using liquid nitrogen which kryonaut is better suited for because Conductornaut is a liquid metal and will not work at extremely low temperatures . Conductornaut is a liquid metal based on gallium which is safe on bare die chips such as a GPU or a delidded CPU but CAN DESTROY ALUMINUM so unless the GPU cooler is made entirely of copper, if it has aluminum on the contact surface it is best to use kryonaut. Conductornaut has better thermal conductivity than kryonaut at room temperature.
