Q: Hey will this fit onto my jackson slx ?

Only if it has a Flloyd Rose already attached. Its design to fit most, if not all, FR locking bridges

Push the short end of the bar into your Floyd Rose-style bridge. Then tighten the threaded part to your liking.

The whammy bar (tremelo arm) attaches to a Floyd Rose style bridge which is attached to the body of the guitar. The other parts are a "locking nut" assembly and it attaches to the end of the neck at the peghead.
