Great value
Great quality product and looks very smart. All relevant tools provided to assemble. Fairly straightforward but the rubber hoop for the key ring attachment a bit fiddly to secure.

Amazing quality...
Superb product

Surprisingly good quality.
I surprised that this was metal when it showed up. It might say so in the description but I don’t know. It has a good weight to it, doesn’t obstruct any of the buttons either. Very happy with this purchase.

Not for all keys!
I have a 2023 M240i and the key is the right shape, just a little bigger than previous versions of the key so just a little too big for the case, however, if you remove the physical key, it fits fine. Risky game if I ever needed to use it, but, given that you have to screw the two halves of the case around your key, I wouldn’t have been able to use it anyway. I really like the product, it looks great, it’s well made and haven’t seen one that would in fact fit my key, so I have made it work.

Solid good quality cover
Certainly adds a bit of weight but looks fantastic and was easy enough to fit (6 very small screws are used)

Big, heavy and flawed.
This key cover (unlike some) fits over the existing key fob.A rubber moulding first fits over the key fob, then you screw a two-piece metal frame over that. The metal sides are fairly thick. As the basic key fob is already quite large, this makes it considerably bulkier and approximately doubles the weight of the fob. There’s a round hole in the rubber cover where the BMW logo for locking is positioned, so you have to reach into the hole to press it. This is both awkward and strange, as none of the other switch positions have a hole. I’d imagine this is because the manufacturer can’t use the BMW logo themselves, so the hole let it show through (though slightly off-centre) but it did make it awkward for me to use.The screw-on casing has a serious flaw in that unless you always carry a small crosshead screwdriver with you, then if you ever need to use the physical key to gain entry to the car, then there’s no way of accessing it with the casing in place. The spring-clip supplied is also too large/thick to fit several of my keys on.So given the extra bulk, weight and impracticalities, I’ve taken it off and am just using the standard fob again. It looks good and gives an air of robustness, but that’s not enough reason to get one.

A car key cover that is manufactured as good as it looks
With great relief this key cover arrived and it exceeded my expectations from looks to manufacturers quality. Simple installation instructions online and really amazing quality components. I would definitely recommend.

Please don't get this gimmick.
Wrong size for year of key, can fit if you remove your spare manual key, but then cover doesn't line up, no instructions, no hole in fob strap, wrong screws' for fob strap. Personally, not impressed and not as described.
