Village Candles easily keep pace with Yankee Candles in the aroma department. We purchased a Village Limon Pound Cake (double wick). Two words describe this candle, pungent and sweet! Quality Control is always a problem with any product nowadays (see reviews). So if you get a Village Candle that disappoints, don't give up on the brand, they'll hit their mark, it's only a matter of time. The downside is, and, yes, there is one, limited scent variety. Maybe Amazon has a limited arrangement with Village as to variety. It's the same scents over and over again. We need something new like chocolate, caramel, banana nut, etc..We still buy Yankee Candles if they have something that sounds good, however, inflation must have caught up with them in the aroma department, not enough juice for the money! Hey, Yankee, either charge less or create a brand name that reflects your new economy line... just a thought.As a side note, Village Candles, at least the ones we've bought, need a burn-in period to reconcile their aroma and permeating profile i.e. they'll mellow from their out-of-the-box maybe you like it or maybe you don't fragrance, into something more satisfying and expected... they need time.

It's good quality and the scent is nice and light, not overpowering at all. However it smells like 50/50 lemon and vanilla. Not bad, just not what I was looking for. I'll use it anyway because it is a good scent.

I love this brand of candle. Package arrived promptly. My only complaint was I was hoping the candle would smell sweeter. The hazelnut fragrance is overpowering.

Candle arrived a bit lopsided, I'm suspecting the recent California heat played a role. I trimmed the wick and let it pool entirely and it was good as new.Scent: Incredible lemon, meringue treat, without that waxy artificial smell.Throw: Excellent. My house smells like baked lemon treats.Burn: These candles burn Incredibly well, slow and even burn. Given the price point, they give expensive fancy candles a run for their money.I will definitely order a few more.

The thing I like be about these candles are how long they last and the scent is true to the name. I’ve been buying them for years and always a gift for someone. The price is good for the value. And when the candle is finished I wash it and use them for pasta jars. You can use them for anything. Love this product.

Lecker Schmecker am Leckersten. Ich liebe diesen Duft. Die ganze Wohnung duftet, ohne dass frischer Kuchen im Ofen ist. Aber es riecht im Haus so nach Zitronenbutterkuchen. Genuss ohne Kalorien.

La cena tiene un aroma espectacular, tiene 2 mechas y una tardó poco en apagarse , la otra me temo que no le queda mucho. Se desaprovecha mucha cera. La relación calidad precio es nefasta.

excellent produit,sent vraiment le gateau à la vanille et au citron,l'odeur est assez forte qui se diffuse dans la maison,c'est la 1ere jarre que j'achete chez village candle et sincerement c'est le top des top pas déçu du tout,je trouve que la senteur des jarres est meme mieux que chez yankee candle et moins onéreuses,alors oui je recommande ce produit et je racheterai sans problémes,la jarre etait emballée dans du bulle c'est peut-etre juste ,mais une chance elle est arrivée entiére
