Great journal for kids of all writing abilities (ages 5-9)
My son loves this journal. He is not an avid writer, but he is able to complete his daily entries with open-ended prompts throughout. The best is that it really only takes him 5 minutes! The only suggestion I could provide if to change the date format, making it larger space and writing out the month or day. Great product.

Easy, high impact--not just for kids!
We love this journal. I got one for myself and one for my son to do in parallel. It's simple and wondderfull effective. A great way to start and end the day, and takes I'd say less than 5 min. 2-1/2 min max in the AM, 2-1/2 min before bed. Highly recommend. It is simple, fun, and at the same time deep/very meaningful. It has actually taught me to relax and appreciate day to day life much more!

Outstanding!
Amazing concept. I learn so much more about my children by reading what they write in here. It teaches them gratitude which can be developed through this journal. I love it and so do my children.

year long gift
It is difficult to buy a gift for a tween granddaughter. I selected this journal because it encourages positive memories and gratitude. Something the world needs more of. Both my granddaughter and her parents loved it. I will be being two more for her siblings' birthdays. The pages are colourfully arranged and the morning and evening notations are short enough for am 11 year old to complete

Good elementary school journal
Nice journal for kids. My seven year old got interested in journaling from a cartoon. He's not quite ready for a regular journal, so this was a good compromise. I got myself a copy of the regular version, and writing in our journals is turning into a short morning/evening activity for us. The kids book is basically a shorter version of the regular one - kids write 1 response instead of 3, and one of the questions is different (what did you learn). I'm liking this because it's short enough that he doesn't seem to mind the writing (very good reader, but dislikes writing). It's also bound well, so it should last until he finishes the journal. This is a good journal for elementary school.
