Bold, Balanced, and Perfect for Tacos or anything
TABASCO really nailed it with their Salsa Picante. This isn’t just another hot sauce—it’s a rich, Mexican-style blend that brings a subtle kick and deep flavor to everything from tacos and burritos to scrambled eggs and grilled meats. The red jalapeños and spice mix give it a savory, garlicky warmth without overwhelming heat, making it super versatile.I especially love the thicker texture compared to classic Tabasco—it clings beautifully to food and works great as both a drizzle and a dip. The easy-squeeze bottle is a nice touch too, making it mess-free and convenient.Bonus: it’s gluten-free, preservative-free, vegan, and non-GMO, so it fits into a lot of dietary lifestyles without compromise. If you’re looking to spice up your Tex-Mex game with something flavorful but not overpowering, and great value!

Absolutely love this classic! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
TABASCO Original Red Pepper Hot Sauce is one of those staples that earns its spot in the pantry — and keeps it. The flavor is timeless, bold, and unmistakably TABASCO: a perfect balance of heat, tang, and simplicity. It’s made with just three ingredients — vinegar, red pepper, and salt — yet it delivers a flavor punch that enhances almost any savory dish.I’ve used it on everything from scrambled eggs to tacos, grilled meats, and even popcorn (yes, try it!). It has just the right amount of heat — enough to give food a kick, but not so overwhelming that it numbs your palate. I especially appreciate that it doesn’t overpower the food — instead, it complements it.The glass bottle is well-designed and easy to pour in controlled amounts. Just a few dashes go a long way. The 5 fl oz size is perfect for regular use, and it lasts a while despite how frequently I reach for it.What also stands out is its versatility. It works just as well in marinades, dips, sauces, and even cocktails like a Bloody Mary. Whether you want to spice up a slice of pizza or bring life to a bland meal, this hot sauce delivers every time.Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, flavorful hot sauce with clean ingredients and consistent quality, you can’t go wrong with the original TABASCO. It’s a true kitchen essential.

Good stuff
It's Tabasco. We all know what it is. I have an entire door shelf in the fridge for hot sauces and this is a staple for steaks, grits, and eggs. Adds heat with minimal change in flavor, other than added vinegar, which I like anyway. The smaller bottles are a waste. Get this!

If you've had it, you know it.
Twenty years ago, I'd go to Chipotle just to have access to this, since it was never sold in the local supermarkets. Thank you, Amazon! Sure, in that twenty years there have been a bunch of other boutique/artisanal/small batch hot sauces flooding the market, some are better, some aren't--but this is always well received. Spice level is a proper medium, letting you put a decent amount on and enjoy the depth that the smoked chipotle brings to the table. If you're just looking for heat, that's what habaneros are for--but this stuff is great value for the money and brings the level of predictable and appreciated quality that Tabasco has for over 150 years (or, uh, at least the smaller fraction of that I've been alive and using Tabasco products...)

Lifelong Tabasco Addict
I have been addicted to Tabasco since a pre-teen. I started out using just a few shakes on ground beef. This habit grew to using Tabasco on steak, ribs, barbecue, pork chops, chili, soup, chitterlings, ketchup, Philly cheese steak, wings and more. As the addiction grew I started using the largest bottle I could find. Two ounces just did not satisfy me as it lasted for one and maybe two uses. Eventually I advanced to carrying a small bottle with when dining out in case the restaurant did not provide Tabasco (shame on them). I lost count of the number of bottles I left at my favorite cheese steak "station". Occasionally I would consume a spoonful just to freak people out. I suspect my taste buds are shot. I tried growing my own peppers to make the sauce but the flavor just was not these. While not as hot as some sauces, Tabasco is the gold standard for all hot sauces. Perfect blend of flavor and heat.

Closest to taste comparison for this hot sauce / salsa is...
...Cholula's Chile Garlic hot sauce but this has a better balance of garlic & smoke PLUS it's a thicker less runny consistency AND has more sauce (a nice size) for the same or less money (better quality & value). As far as the heat / spice level of this hot sauce, I'd put this at the high end of mild / low end of medium heat.I think it's going to be a very versatile hot sauce with a nice spice level. This sauce gets a star off for its expiration date, I received it in early September 2025 but it's 'Best Buy' date is January 2026.

Best sriracha sauce I own
I was pleasantly surprised to see Tabasco makes a preservative free sriracha hot sauce. It’s one of the better ones I’ve tasted. I highly recommend it if you haven’t tried it. I use it in soups, rice bowls, eggs, burgers. Super versatile sauce and reasonably priced for the size of the item. The bottle is smaller than typical sriracha brand bottles but preservative free and taste win out every time. Get it
