Fish holder works great. And the plyers are a life saver for trimming line to grabbing hooks or splitting the o ring to put on hooks. The pliers go with me anytime i go fishing

Overall a nice set. I bought both the large & small set. The pliers for both seem pretty nice. One pair of grippers works great, the other pair isn’t smooth operating.

I own many KastKing products and I do so because of their performance to cost value proposition which just can’t be beat. This fish scale, pliers and lip grabber set is another example of their effort to provide quality products and a reasonable price point for the weekend or everyday fisherman. The scale has a large easy to grasp handle, large buttons and screen that I can actually read without having to hunt for my reading glasses – bonus! Plus the screen is backlit if you get lucky and catch fish in the dark. Only negative I have for the scale is it requires a tiny screwdriver to remove 2 screws when you need to replace the 2 AA batteries, they include the screwdriver but I am probably going to lose it at some point, wish the compartment could lock without the need for a tool. The positive is the screws hold the battery compartment lid tight to produce a water proof seal for the battery compartment since the battery lid has an O-ring around it. The pliers are perfect for me, they fit my hand well (I wear a man’s Large glove) and have all of the features built into them that you would expect. The belt holster for the pliers is made out of thick plastic and holds the pliers firmly and is comfortable to wear…just no complaints with the pliers or belt holster. The lip grabber works but is too short/small for me since I do a lot of bass fishing, but work perfectly for smaller pan fish (which I do catch quite a bit). I will probably stick with using a larger set of fish lip grabbers and keep these as backups or hand off to others when they go fishing with me. All in all you can’t go wrong with this set, I highly recommend it!

Purchased this for a fishing trip last year. I really only used the pliers as I was trout fishing and the fish grabber was over kill for trout. The pliers worked well, but the cutters are very difficult to use. Very small cutting surface area, and because it is located on the side it is very hard to use. Otherwise the handles felt good and no other issues. 3 stars only because I am not excited to use it on future fishing trips, but no major functional issues.
