a7RV owner here- it did fit well- the bracket can be slide to the left hand side of the camera and the side bar can clear almost 1 in- I use it snug against the camera and it works fine. It is a little harder to open the side compartments but the bracket comes with a little tool that attaches to the bottom via magnets - they are perfect for fix this minor issue.

After using it on a visit to New Zealand glaciers, I have no criticisms and would buy this brand again.

The bracket will be in the way of the monitor, its very hard to open the compartments on the left hand side also. Again this is not for the Sony A7rV

You'll have to remove it if you want to articulate the screen up or down. Kind of a pain to open port covers also. They do open, but tricky to get to. Other than that, it works.

this is a ligt bracket, so no complains.

Left side notch is not in the right place, the camera strap attachment point is "in the way." It still works, but it's not flush against the body. I guess its technically "compatible" with the Sony A7r V, but its certainly not specifically made for the A7r V body, which I guess its why its so much cheaper than the Really Right Stuff version. Maybe I should have read the item description more carefully.

I tried a different bracket first, but this one is clearly better. It has a clear mark for the sensor centerline, it fits the camera body like it should while staying clear of the battery compartment and its single piece construction instills confidence in its longevity.

Perfect fit. Just what I was looking for my A7RIV. Great to mount on my gimbal for portrait shots.
