Family Size Insulated Folding Collapsible Picnic Basket Cooler with Sewn in Frame

We go camping quite a bit and while we are camping we like to take small day trips. When camping you are always trying to find a balance between functionality and space. This picnic basket is large but is collapsible to save on space. It's not just a basket but also a cooler which is great for extended trips. Most portable/collapsible coolers are flimsy. This one on the other hand, provides a much more rigid and stable basket which not only helps protect your food but makes storing/traveling easier. It's compact but not at all flimsy.

Love the basket size and function but has a strong plastic odor that I can't seem to get rid of and the food seems to obsorbs the smell.

Just received this today and the only problem I see at this point is that it collapses even with food in it, if the food is shorter than the height of the basket. I was under the impression given by all of the photos that it would stand up on its own, but it does not. Although it is convenient that it is meant to collapse for storage, it unfortunately collapses even with food in it. It would probably stand if two water jugs were in it, but collapses with anything else, unless it is really packed with food to support it. I am hoping that some type of support is not missing from my basket, because it definitely does not stand on its own and there seems to be nothing inside or outside that moves, slides, or anything to help it to stay in a standing position. I may have to put cardboard or something in the sides to make it stand up.Other than that, it appears fine and we are planning to use it for camping.

Bag has a toxic plastic smell. I couldn't get the bag to stand up. It seemed too top heavy and kept collapsing. Great customer service when I returned it.

There is nothing keeping it from collapsing - so unless it is completely full it will slouch down. It also smelled really bad when we got it, so it stayed outside for about a week.

Good modern design with lots of space and insulation. The upper pocket is versatile to hold tupperwares and utensils as well as other items. Even comes with a little strap that can hold stuff in place, I am sure it will be a very useful feature when we go picnic next time!

This item is as big as I expected when I see the figures when I about to buy, and it is foldable, you can fill it with plenty stuffs, it is pretty basket.

This is a great day cooler for the boat or the beach. I love the top compartment for paper plates/napkins and plasticware!
