It is a peel and stick patch kit. You need to be careful when patching because it is very stickey and when it's on it's on. I also patched a bouncy house and it worked very well even on a seam. Hope this helps.

Repair while deflated - this material can stretch a bit, so once repaired and re-inflated, the material will have some room to stretch.
