FLAC works! MP3 at 320kbps works! Even 512Gb SD work too! Has both 3.5mm and Bluetooth! Wonderful!!!
I was at first unhappy because I couldn't make my Coconise M6 work - I thought this brand may have quality control issues, as the first unit I got was dead within days due to a battery problem (couldn't charge regardless of the charger). On the new one, I suspected a broken sdcard slot, and prepared a return but forgot to ship it back to amazon! Then right before travelling, I had a problem with my regular MP3 player so I tried AGAIN to make this one work as there was no way I would get a working MP3 player in the 4h I had left before my flight. Turns out the Coconise could recognize the other player sdcard???It couldn't work with the included 64G card, but it worked just fine on a high end Samsung 512Gb card filled to the brim with FLAC and high quality MP3!!After trying a few tweaks to understand what happened, the Coconise M6 needs the card to have just 1 MBR partition (not GPT!) and in FAT32, then anything goes!!It now works flawlessly with the Anker neckband, but for the best quality I prefer wired headphones, like the Sony MDR-EX082 or MDR-EX083 that used to be sold with Vaios. The seller offers to all buyers free Bluetooth earbuds with a Qualcomm chip according to a little card included in the box, but I haven't received them yet, so I can't say if it will help with the Bluetooth quality?Still, flawless FLAC support was totally unexpected. The only slight drawbacks are 1) the lack of physical clicky buttons, and 2) a slight delay when you have a lot of music on your card.I hope eventually a better firmware will be released, if not, for device I'll be taking on the beach it'll do just fine!

Very good little MP3 player made in China
I have bought 2-3 of these made in China MP3 players from Amazon... this orange one is the best. The EQ the sound quality is the best I have seen yet. I expanded the memory to 128GB. The Bluetooth works well and keeps a strong connection. I love how it charges with USB CI recommend to friends and I would buy again

instructions were unclear
If the instructions had been clearer I would be able to write a full review. Alas--- they were terrible. Couldn't get it to work so I returned it.

Does not support folders?
Here is how to correctly load folders onto the player:1. Transfer the folders from the computer to the memory card "music" folder, however you usually do it. My method is to open 2 instances of Windows Explorer and drag the folders from one to the other.2. Put the memory card in the player. Turn it on. Let it scan.3.Use the arrow buttons to get MUSIC to show in the screen. Click the middle button to open the Music menu.4. Scroll down to "Update Playlist". Click that, then "YES" and let it scan again.5. Use the return button to get back to the main screen, then the arrows buttons to navigate to FOLDERS.Click that, then click "music". You "should" see your folders and sub-folders there.UPDATED REVIEW (original review is below). The problem I had with folders turned out to be caused by the player not correctly handling the 2 folders I initially tested it with. Those had similar names (Moonlight & Love Songs, and Moonlight & Love Songs Vol 2). I tried several times but the player always combined the songs into a single folder and lost their correct order. I found that that the problem doesn't happen with other folders. Right now I have 184 folders with another 200 sub-folders on the player and so far am not seeing any problems. For that reason I am temporarily raising my rating to 3 stars, average. There are still issues with the way the play handles large numbers of files, primarily in how long it take to scroll using the down/up buttons. It takes 77 seconds to scroll thru the list of 184 folders. This is a failure of the software. The scrolling speed should progressively speed up the longer you hold down the button, as on other devices. The attraction of this thing is the relatively large memory, but that is negated if it is not designed to handled a large music collection. Another concern is the number of button pushes it takes just to get to the list of music. A device dedicated to playing music should go right to it. A dedicated device should outperform a general device like a phone, but this doesn't. My Android phone with the VLC app does a better job with the same files. I think I paid $20 for the phone.ORIGINAL 1 STAR REVIEW:I immediately read the instructions, then attempted to use the included card reader to load some music onto the included SD memory card from my Win 10 laptop. The laptop would not recognize the reader. I kept pushing the SD card in further to try to get it to make contact. Finally the card went in too far into the reader. Had to use a knife to pry it out. Next used a standard micro SD - to full size - SD card adapter. The computer immediately recognized the card and I drag & dropped a couple of folders. My music is organized into albums with each in its own folder. I never use playlists. The problem is that this player doesn't seem to work with folders. On the screen only the first folder shows up under its correct name. None of the other folders appear anywhere in the device (even though they are clearly on the SD card -- I can see them when I put the card in the computer). The player does show all of the songs I loaded, but it has placed them all into that first folder I made. Al of my song names start with a number, which insures that Windows Explorer shows them in the correct order instead of alphabetically. Well, the player has them arranged by numbers also, but in one folder. So all of the first songs are those that were numbered 1 in their respective folders, then all of the numbered 2 songs, etc. It's just a big mess. There is nothing in the instructions or in the menu about folders. It looks to me like they expect you to just load your thousands of songs, with the only choices to; Play them in whatever order the player places them, or random play them, or arrange them into a playlist one song at a time. Surely that can't be right. If I figure out how to get it to show and play folders I'll change my rating.
