Fast cutting
If you polish metals frequently or professionally you’ll appreciate how fast this buff cuts! This buff is hard as a rock, it’s fantastic ! My Gunsmith Shop offers Gun Bluing which in many cases requires a mirror finish of the steel prior to the Bluing process. Lots of hand filing and sanding is required first. Once we have achieved a 360 grit finish, we use this buff as our first cut. We use Brown Tripoi with this buff, it gives us the most aggressive cut. It saves me hours of extra hand work at a very reasonable price!

Good product once it’s set up
I use 4 descending grits of airway wheels, on bench mounted buffers. These appeared to be a good value, but because they require 2 special backing plates each, unique to Zephyr, they ended up being much more expensive than my previous versions. Now that I’ve made the initial investment in the backing plates, the Zephyr airway wheels are an excellent product for my knife making shop.

JUNK!
I bought this to quickly remove factory paint from my atv brake calipers to make polishing them go quickly. This wheel wouldn't remove anything. I will not by again!
