I keep it in my truck all the time i a zip lock bag.
This is my 3rd one in 25 years. Works great for getting water off the windows inside and out. I use it after car wash to get all water spots off my truck and windows. Small, fast, last works.

Chamois over sponge-- simple idea that works well for defogging and cleaning the inside of your windows!
I have both this one and the "TravelOn" branded one. This one is much larger, but functionally they are the same: it is basically a chamois stitched over a foam sponge. And they are intended to make it easy to wipe down the inside of your windows due to morning condensation/frost/dew and evaporated plasticizers from the dash (and cigarette smoke if you have smokers in your car...).The larger one I have for my large car/SUV and the smaller TravelOn one I have for my little 2-seater sports car. :) It's essential to have in the glove box of every car and would make a great gift for someone, because everyone could use it (and everyone has done the "wipe the windshield or side windows with your sleeves, napkin, or worse, your hands..."). Let's put an end to that silliness with this!

One of the best sponges 4 size vs cost ratio. These sponges make every difference in Saving you time on your way where you're going rather than waiting for the defrost machine to do its job.

Great sponge but doesn't last very long
Very useful. I'm a big believer in using a chamois cloth for cleaning cars and my boat as it's the only way to prevent water spotting. This chamois cloth-covered sponge works better than a plain chamois.My only complaint is that the chamois is thin, and only lasts about one season of more or less one cleaning per week. The cloth covering will tear off the sponge. In fact, this was the third one I've purchased over the past three years. However, I like them enough, and they're cheap enough, that I keep replacing them.

Don't bother trying this
Hardly absorbs any water at all. Tried to use on my camper windows in the morning and it just speads the water and drips down the wall.

Works Wonders to Remove Haze!
This Cham-Pad works excellently on the inside of the windshield to remove that odd plasticine film/haze that builds up over time. I strongly recommend this to anyone who likes a crystal clear windscreen.

Interior anti-fog
I use this for my interior windows if/when they fog. Seems to clean them well and does not streak.
