Good parts...
finally pulled 2 of these out of my parts bin to toss on the car, I am missing a grease fitting ,castle nut, and cotter pin from one of the units. I should be able to locate these items, but don't do what i did and check your stuff before leaving it for later.

OEM Fitment GR Subaru STI 08-14
OEM fitment on GR Subaru STI 2008-2014, may fit other models and, it was pre greased. Driving for a couple of weeks, in combination with all new front end parts seems very solid and the car feels brand new.

Not perfect but good
This product was slightly shorter than stock. I counted the number of turns on the removal of the old product and being that it was shorterr when I reinstalled the alignment was way off. Next time i will mark the tie rod with a while paint marker. So it took some adjusting to get the alignment correct. I had to take the wheel off and adjust like 3 times before it was in alignment. but overall good product.

GREASE BEFORE INSTALLATION!!!
Build and performance wise I'm fairly certain this is a great product, HOWEVER, there is a major that brought the rating down of this product, documentation. It is not explicitly mentioned that the the tie rod end needs to be greased with a grease gun. If you look at the first photo, this is what it looks like without grease. Another review mentioned this, which I read after the fact and realized I had to iberally grease the part. By grease I mean, a solid 4 pumps from a full size grease gun. Yes, it will be excessive filled with grease which will be pushed out once you install the toe rod end with the castle nut, so expect to clean up excess grease. Second pic shows what it SHOULD look like once loaded up with grease before install, then lastly what the boot should look like once the castle nut is torqued down.If it weren't for this I'd probably give this a 4.5 if I could, but the lack of proper instructions could mean improper installation.

definite change in quality of the fit
I ordered two tie rod ends for my Baja, left and right are both the same part number. The first installed nicely with a smooth fit of the rubber boot. The second the boot folded unevenly and is sharply kinked. As a retired engineer I did not think the fit was correct. I contacted Moog, they were very helpful and we finally determined that the second unit was the new, manufactured in-house unit and the first was an old out-sourced unit. Lucky me to get one of each! The first end I would rate with four stars, the rating is for the "new, manufactured in-house" unit that you are most likely to receive. The two are easily distinguished as the "old" unit the boot is shaped like an onion or a head of garlic, the "new" unit the boot is straight like a volcano.
