Beadalon Rubber Tubing - Neoprene, Black, 4.0 mm / 0.16 in - 5 m / 16.4 ft

Its hard to find the 4mm hollow cord so I was very happy to find this. I have no complaints, it is exactly what I wanted but I do wish I could find it in other colors..especially brown.

I am waiting to see how this holds up over time. It was easy to work with.

I opened the package of tubing anxious to start using it for my jewelry designs. It was unusable. The tubing odor is noxious and I can't get rid of it! I have taken it outside to get some fresh air, but it has not helped. I have asked others to smell it to be sure it's not me and it is not - - - it is toxic and cannot be used for anything but wrapping up garbage !!

This my first bad review. I have been working with rubber/neoprene/pvc tubing for many years in my jewellery making designs. This tubing is the perfect size, soft, but it smells toxic. I tried to wash it, air it out but still stinks. I tried wearing it and with body heat, the smell gets even worse. I cant use it for any of my jewellery.
