Works on at least 9v and 12v
So far tested on several low amperage 9v and 12v music devices without issues. Did not seem to add noise. Good option to have around.

Seems very solid
Pros:o Very flexible connector systemo The "pin connector" can be easily re-purposed as a high quality bare-wire connectoro Good range of output voltageso Well built on the outside and WRT cabling - have not opened it, no needo Runs coolo Clean, quiet output at 1.6 amperes and 15 VDCo Relatively low RF interference generation from 10 KHz to 30 MHzMy use case:I have an LED aquarium light that pulls 1.6 amperes at 15 volts. It has killed its original power supply and two subsequent, two-ampere, 15v supplies also bought on Amazon -- wall warts. I started thinking perhaps the light itself was at fault. I'm an engineer. I have tools. :)So I put the light on a lab power supply and graphed the current use over an entire day, including sequences where the timers were cycling both the blue and white LEDs on and off. The current draw never exceeded 1.6 amperes, so I'm thinking that the problem has _probably_ been lousy power supplies.I bought this power supply because of the higher current rating, and although only time will tell in the long run, the lamp seems happy, and is in place and doing its job, and the digital multimeter says both 15v and 1.6 amperes under working, day-to-day load. The scope also confirms that the output quality is good; there's no significant noise on the power supply output with the 1.6 ampere load at 15v. So that's good. A session with a spectrum analyzer and an RF probe confirmed that the RF interference coming out of my unit on the input and output cables is reasonably low.If the unit fails, you may rest assured that I will come storming back in here and edit this review accordingly. Somehow I think the additional current capacity is likely to solve the problem, though.I do think that the little wall warts that are generally available seem to be of very low quality. Less capacity then advertised, low MTBF (mean time between failures), and, a particular bug of mine, lots and lots of RF interference. This seems to be better. For now, five stars. The longer this review stays that way, the more confidence you can have in the supply.

Works great on a Finnex 24/7 Planted Light
If your Finnex transformer has let you down as many have then this is a great solution. I would have given 5 stars but that would be plug and play which this isn't. First crank the product up to the highest setting (15V) then here are the directions of what you need to know. Cut the wires from the Finnex transformer and you will have a blue (negative) and a brown (positive) coming off it. Next if you hold this products end with the flat side facing you the left is the positive and the right is negative. If you cut it off and strip it back you will have a black and a blue wire. The blue is positive and the black is negative. I soldered mine in place as in the photo. Blue off Finnex to black on this product and Brown off Finnex to Blue of this product as in photo. Works like a charm.

Love this product
Looked for a long time for a power supply for my back machine… this was THE one that worked (tried other brands but it didn’t work). Thank you!!! Thank you!!

Perfect for Retro game consoles with slight modification to reverse polarity
This power supply can be perfect for powering your retro game consoles after some minor modifications to REVERSE THE POLARITY so that the included 2.1mm tip is CENTER NEGATIVE. 3A capacity also allow it to power both consoles & attachments at the same time like a Sega Genesis & Sega CD (requires a 2.1mm splitter, not included).I’ve tested and can confirm it works for any console that uses the same center-negative, 2.1mm 9v 1A standard such as:-NTSC NES (front-loader & top loader), Famicom, Famicom Disk System- SNES (requires adapter) & Super Famicom- TurboGrafx 16 & PC Engine- Sega Genesis Model 1, Sega CD (1&2), Sega 32x- Virtual Boy (Requires Adapter for US Tap)1. Open the case by peeling up the silver label (near the voltage selector) and removing the two Phillips head screws underneath. The case will pull open from there.2. Desolder and swap the positions of the black and blue wires to reverse polarity. Re-assemble when complete.3. Attach the included 2.1mm DC connector4. Set output to 9vI’ve had some of the polarity-swapped adapters in-use for over a year now with zero issues whatsoever.

This product is garbage
I used this power supply once. I plugged it into the device I bought it to power ( I had checked voltage and current requirements) and was pleased that it worked and had the right size barrel connector for the jack on the device. I used the device for a few minutes to test the power supply and then put it away. I forgot to unplug this power supply from the outlet, but normally when you leave a power adapter like this plugged in it's no problem. Two days later when I attached the power supply to the device again, I noticed that the power supply was very hot to the touch. I also soon noticed that it no longer worked.Do not buy this product. You will regret it.

Looks like a quality unit but don't be like me...
I didn't bother to check my device and failed to notice that this adapter is center positive (clearly mentioned in photos). The device I purchased this for is a guitar effects pedal (Line 6 Pod Go). The Line 6 Pod Go is centre negative so this power adapter will not work for me. This is all a result of my ignorance and not the fault of seller. I will certainly hold on to this though because it came with a ton of different adapters I'm sure I will find a use. Just make sure your device is Center positive and this will probably be a good product for you
