A quality organic supplement. The three ingredients (other than the vege cellulose capsule shell) are artichoke (aerial part), black radish (root) and turmeric (rhizome) - the respective plant parts that contain the highest concentration of beneficial bioactive compounds. The two main reasons for choosing organic over non-organic supplements are: (1) organic products are free from pesticides, herbicides and other toxins commonly used in non-organic farming; (2) organic products contain a higher nutrient density than their non-organic counterparts. This Nutrimea Organic Complex supplement contains no additives or artificial ingredients whatsoever - as it should be with all supplements. One ingredient I'd have liked to see included is organic black pepper (or piperine, its active ingredient). Piperine has been shown to increase absorption of curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric root) by 2,000%. To leave black pepper out of this supplement is a clunky oversight on the part of the manufacturer. The existing ingredients are all good, though, so I won't dock any stars from my rating. But the next time Nutrimea is revising this product, adding some organic black pepper would be a wise move. As mentioned earlier, adding some organic black pepper to the formulation would make the supplement even more effective by increasing both the absorption and the bioavailability of the active ingredients, especially curcumin from turmeric. This product is good for liver detox. However, the labelling is wrong. All of the ingredients work for liver detoxification but none of them are directly associated with intestine and colon detox. Misleading headline.

I am just on the second week of taking this supplement but I am hopeful.
